Not a great choice

Maytag Washer with Impeller

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love my new Maytag impeller washing machine. Great stain removal. Love the water level feature and the faucet inside the tub. The hair removal feature is great and the washer is quiet when in use. I can't say enough good things about this washer. I am sure it will be durable. My last Maytag was more than 15 years old.

Great machine

Doubtful it's actually cleaning anything

I am doubtful this thing actually cleans anything. I've learned I have to do max fill ar all times to even get the clothes on top wet. Otherwise they never even get wet let alone clean. The pet pro thing does actually seem to filter out the pet hair but I really feel like I should have gotten an agitator model and not this thing. There is also no soak cycle. Love pet pro feature

Perfect for Pet People!

I have had mine for 4 years now and I LOVE it. Before this machine I would always place my laundry into the dryer 1st (no heat) to remove the pet hair (to manage major allergies and also don't like pet hair on my laundry) Anyhow, with this washer I am able to put the laundry directly into the washer and it does the removal for me. Broke down within 6 months

Control board went out, part on back order about a month. Now I am out more money and time washing clothes elsewhere. I should be reimbursed for this costly inconvenience! Don't buy Maytag.

Love it

Piece of Crap!

bought this washer and dryer and had to have it repaired after 3 months. nothing but continual problems from both washer and dryer. Absolute Junk! I will never buy another Maytag product! save your money and remove Maytag from your choice!

Wish it wasn't so loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, it is large capacity and works well but it is loud and the dispenser holds water after the cycle. We have to physically empty it to keep it from getting mold/mildew.

I am still learning the washer. It has more options than my last one. I think the High Spin level is a little louder than my other washer. My family has used the lower level spin and it is quieter. The water is really squeezed out of the clothes, It is works well!

Do not buy

Purchased in December of 2025. Stopped working June 5th 2026, submitted a claim for repair that is covered in the warranty the next day. It’s 5 weeks later and I have yet to have it even closed to fixed. The first three weeks I called multiple times a weeks and they kept saying they have a contractor coming out to look at it. Finally at the end of the 3rd week they passed me onto a resolutions team that would figure something out. Finally got a call back last Wednesday saying they have found a n...

Malfunctioned on day 1.

This brand new washer malfunctioned on the 2nd load on the day of arrival. The screen and buttons locked. We are still awaiting the contracted repair person to show up, 10 days after machine arrival. And the side came dented.
