Broke within one year

Broke after one year and had to be completely replaced. Technician said the motor was shot and would cost more to fix and recommended buying an LG. Said he is constantly having to fix whirlpool and maytags

Don't buy this washer

I purchased this Maytag washer because of its reputation for reliability, but it began malfunctioning within the first month. Changing the cycle caused an error, leaving us able to use only one setting. Power loss

Must have for pets

Stopped working in 5 days

Poor quality

I have this washing for 2 days and I am already frustrated with it and ready to return it. The first couple of loads worked great. However, by load 3, the machine wouldn’t turn on without a reboot. I washed several loads of laundry and continued to have the same issue. The machine will not power up just by pushing the on button for 2-5 seconds. The dryer has the same issue.

Machine Broke in 60 Days

If it breaks after 30 days, Lowe’s completely disregards you. Mine broke within 90 days and I got stuck in the middle between Maytag and the repair faculty. You have no advocate. One week since the washer broke and still waiting on “parts.” Order from an independent retail store who stands behind customer service and who will replace it rather than put you in limbo when the machine breaks soon after you purchase it. I have to reboot machine too often

Terrible upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far the worst washer we have had of yours. It will absolutely not balance. Why you removed the agitator is a mystery. We unfortunately can't get rid of it even though we want to because it "works" as intended.

The only thing I have a complaint about is it gets unbalanced often with larger loads. Have had many washers in the past that don’t get unbalanced as much as this product, but overall, I really like this Maytag!
