Ratings & Reviews for Maytag Pet Pro High Efficiency Impeller Extra Large ( 5.3-cu ft ) Top-Load Washer ( Midnight Steel )

Shiny piece of junk

The washer was bought about 2 months ago new! It’s did nothing but go off balance during the spin cycle and flys across the hall and hits my bathroom door breaking the latch in the washer. I’ve had the Maytag repair company come out several times and fix it as it is under warranty. They finally said my floor is unlevel and refuse to help anymore. The previous washer sat there for years with no issue. Absolutely horrible product because the company won’t give me a return authorization number to g...

I desired a washer without an agitator and my father always said that Maytag was best

very big inside the drum

so far works great and looks good too

Perfect size washer!

Love the options for cycles with this machine. I had a larger Maytag, which I found was too big, but this model is just right! Large enough to wash king bedding and large loads of towels, but a good size when smaller loads are needed.

Review & Return

maytag washer/dryer set was returned for an LG front loader. problems w/ the maytag washer: 1. tub did not fill with water - perhaps an install or control panel issue. 2. touchpad control delayed response. 3. tub spins violently. 4. not user friendly. bc of the above problems i lost confidence in the maytag brand. problems w/ the maytag dryer: 1) dryer door locking mechanism cheap quality.

Beautiful washer

Petpro does a great job with the hair.

I paid over $1,000 for this thing. No directions.

This machine is stable when washing heavy loads

Fast wash cycle, large capacity

Felt very comfortable with delivery crew.

The delivery crew was professional and eager to answer any questions I had. The installer saved me over $50. He indicated that I did not need to replace the hoses and return the ones I had purchased.

Well Iam still learning how to use it .

Its a maytag washing machine and it works great .I like it

This thing is life-changing & it’s not hyperbole!

The pet setting is absolutely amazing. I can’t remember the last time I had to use a lint roller! The app makes it so easy to set up a custom cycle, monitor the progress & getting a notification on my phone when it’s time to put things in the dryer means I actually finish the laundry instead of forgetting about it! I do wish that there was some kind of alert before the tub drains when filling with the faucet. I had some bulky items that I wanted to soak & the water drained completely after ...

WiFi is a pain

Everything works as advertised.

Junk

It's sad when you purchase something brand new and immediately start having issues turning on the washer. New panel is on backorder for indefinite date. What am I suppost to do? Go without?

Had it 6 months and it's already nonoperational

Very unhappy-thought Maytag was supposed to be the best. Control board errors right from the start. Eventually it stopped responding to the resets and I had to break it open to get the clothes out. Which meant the lock got broken.. and the lock is so new it doesn't even show up on Maytags own replacement parts site. The people who lowes/maytag sent out to handle hadn't even seen this part and of course, they didn't have it on hand and had to order. SO...another week without a washer.

If is very effective

It is big enough to hold my king comforter

New product. Be prepared for issues.

It’s quiet, it does help to collect pet hair and lint. I am on my third machine. A part keeps going out. The first time, no available part. The second time, it would take 21 days to get the part and Maytag was not too nice. Number three, explained all to Lowe’s and showed video. Number three arrived soon after. Lowe’s saved the day.
