Quiet, efficient, and reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this machine about a month ago for use at our lakeside cabin in Maine. We wanted something that used both energy and water very efficiently in order to protect this beautiful lake. The LG has exceeded our expectations on all fronts!

LG Washer

Considering we've only had this a month or so, I have used it quite a bit! We had a lot of our things in storage for a few months while our house was getting remodeled, so I've been washing quite a bit since it was installed, and it is working wonderfully!

Great washer BUT Bad App

Everything works well with the washer. Huge capacity. Unfortunately the App has proved difficult to get working. A week ago I called LG's support line and after a little more than an hour they "escalated" the problem. It has been 10 days now an no one has reached out to me to take care of the issue.

POWER BUTTON FAILURE--DO NOT BUY THIS

I bought this washer and literally 18 months after the power button failed. Like others have posted, the only way to get it to work was to plug and unplug and eventually that failed as well. 18 month old washer and total failure. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

Do not buy

This washer stopped working after 18months. It just would not power on, tried their recommended reset and nothing. Right when the warranty expired. Look up issues with this washer in YouTube and you will see that so many people have had issues with this washer not turning on after a year. Same exact issue you would think LG would know about this and fix the part. To replace the part it is more than half of the washer price. Please do your research before buying this. Very solid machine

THIS WASHER!!

We have had this washer now for about a month and I must say it is by far the best washer we have owned in years. It is quiet when it washes, cleans very well, and the spin cycle spins based on the weight in the washer. It also spins the water out leaving the clothes damp, this not only drys faster, but will save your dryer life in the long run. The washer does not use a lot of water which is nice, extra water means higher water bill.

Best washer I’ve had. Works amazing

It plays a tune when cycle is finished. Washer and dryer show a timer. Very nice

Bad experience with this machine

I bought this machine a year and a half ago and already having problems - it won't turn on even though the outlet is working. Had to pay for a tech to come fix it and replace the control panel, then he couldn't remove the broken control panel and now have to buy another part and wait for that and pay for another repair visit. By the time this is done, I could have bought another machine, but not LG, never again.

So far, so good!

Running well so far - and the connection to the app is convenient. It does a good job of staying balanced, even during the spin cycle. A much better cleaning job than our previous similar washer from a different manufacturer, that we had to replace after less than 3 years.

Not the Best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On Thursday July 21, 2022, your technician came out to fix the washer. He was very professional and had his mask on. The problem was that the washer when it came to the rinse cycle it started spinning the tub and not filling with water. All the towels were against the side of the tub. The fabric softener was pouring into the tub but not on the towels. A spray of water came on and was spraying the towels as the tub was turning. It did not spray...

Great Machine

Love the many options !

As we are seniors who've been using old school washing machines for years and were a bit intimidated by all the options we now have...but in a short time we are very comfortable with this great washer!...( saving money on water time etc,.plus excellent cleaning results!

I love the features such as being able to operate the washer remotely and the digital touch screen. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

Looks pretty but does NOT wash properly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this ‘high tech’ washer for a few months and have never been satisfied with it’s capabilities. Clothes come out dingy, at least the whites which we can see. We can only imagine that all clothes are the same way. We have called it in twice and the technician says there’s nothing wrong with the machine. We have used all the cycles, to no avail. Very disappointed with this product and will never purchase LG again.

Bought the set back in February 2021 & the electrical board is out already & of course warranty ran out.
