Exceptionally quiet

The installation was very easy with assistance from my wife lifting it onto window. The weather stripping all fits tight and perfect. I immediately turned it on and it cooled the room down within 25 minutes. It is amazingly very very quiet. It has an energy mode for cooling and makes it efficient. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a quality and quiet air conditioning unit.

Satisfied

I am very pleased with my new AC. I like that is is much quieter than other brands I previously owned and I also love the low profile design so I can still see out of most of my window.

Nice but not cold enough

The thermastat only goes down to 64, which is not cold enough to my liking.

A really nifty device.

If I had a need, I'd like to buy another one! It cools, it's quiet and the low profile makes it a great looking fixture in the window. The easiest is a two person installation. I got it installed in one window and had to move it to another. Recommendation: Make a removable plug in the bottom of the rear casing for drainage. This should be standard for all window AC's.

noise

Very good air conditioner. Very quiet however there is a "rolling" variation in noise either from compressor or water pump. The change in tone is awakening. If you physically "push" a corner of the unit it stops but eventually returns.

Beautifully functional, difficult to install

This air conditioner is for a second story bedroom, and i must say that i am delighted. it is replacing a free standing floor model, which took up a much larger space in the bedroom and was quite loud, although it definitely cooled the room. This GE Profile model is very different. In the first place, it is installed in the window rather than sitting on the floor. The installation was not easy, but easier than most window units. Not in love with this, but it's acceptable.

It's nice to have an air conditioner that's very quiet and doesn't completely obstruct the window that it sits in. However, even with the additional accessories to hold it in the window, it is very hard to keep the unit level, and it isn't a very powerful unit. It's not worth returning, but I wouldn't buy this unit again.

Simple to install

Installation was simple. Cooling seems efficient. I can watch the energy usage and cooling efficiency on the app. There is a selection for quite noise function which seems to help. I really enjoy the feature of wi-fi so I can turn it on or off while I’m away from home. It’s large enough for coverage of my kitchen living and dining areas plus a bit more it was a bit expensive but so far worth the extra cost.

Not very quiet

These are easy to install and I do like that it doesn't block the windows like most window units, but they are not very quiet. When reading the description I thought were getting an AC that would literally make like no noise whatsoever and I must say I'm very disappointed with the noise level. Not sure that I would buy more

Works great

Works great and pretty quiet unless you turn the fan on high. Just hope it works for a long time.

It works for now..

This unit will cool a room no bigger than 10x12. It’s fairly quiet while running. The evo mode switches on and off and does not regulate the temperature very well. The cool mode switches the condenser on and off and is pretty loud when clicking on and off. This unit uses the excess water in the pan to cool off the coils with the internal fan splashing the coils. It’s annoyingly loud and sounds like something is stuck in the unit like a bug or leaf. Great A/C, could use a few improvements not direct

Very effective a/c. Quiet. Easy to install. Nice insulation package. Would like it if the panel lights were a little brighter, hard to see on bright side of house. Getting the thing to sign on to wi-fi is a real pain.

Excellent design and results that I am enjoying

The unit was quite easy to install actually… It’s a little bulky, but the video and the written instructions are excellent! They are very few ways for the installation to go wrong! The unit is quiet and powerfully cools the room. Perfect! And once the desired temperature is reached, it becomes very quiet and does an amazing job of maintaining comfort without too much fan strength or noise.

Super easy install

Very easy installation. Really quiet, started cooling the room immediately. Love still having the view out the window. Everything I need to install was included, didn’t have to round up anything extra.

Great window Unit!

The product is extremely quiet and efficient and cools great! It's amazing the innovation in the way the unit is adjustable and sits in the window opening! Appears to be energy efficient and covers the area in the room well. Great job!!! Keep it up!!

Great AC

Very beautiful little AC unit. Does a great job cooling, very quite and great for my 250 sqft space.

Re-inventing the wheel...

Bought this when my central air went out. Way too hot so needed something until central air could be fixed. Used this for 2 weeks. The unit did a real good job. On high it pumped out plenty of cold air. When swapped to the quiet setting... well it was unbelievably quiet! A running refrigerator makes more noise than this ac makes when on quiet mode. I would have ideally liked a large BTU unit but is what it is. The mounting was very easy, quick and foolproof as long as one can read instructions...

Super quiet

Installation was super easy. Fit and design is outstanding. The noise level of this unit is amazingly quiet. Cooling is doing well covering a small 12x16 insulated work shop. Operation via WiFi is a great feature. Energy consumption is about 100 watts more than our 6000 btu unit but a fraction of the noise.
