Poor quality

Does not cool well. Only can go down to 64 and comes on and shuts down way too often and noisy. Very disappointed in it. For the price and the weight of it I was expecting much better quality.

Clear view AC cools nicely

The unit cools very well. Not as quite as some of the reviews but certainly much more quite than a traditional window unit AC. Not as easily to install as the videos make it out to be. However, the end results are a much better fitting and better window insulation and fit than other traditional ac units. I did shore up the outside portion to the window sill for better support. Works great

The unit cools the room very quickly. It's very quiet. The installation was simple and straightforward. The unit is very efficient on power use.

Nice Air Conditioner

Installation was very simple and straightforward with good instructions. Low profile on the window sill allows you to see out the window, which is very nice and elicits many positive comments from friends and family. It cools a medium to large room approximately 300-500 sqft. quickly, and has a very quiet operation. Highly recommend this product.

Cool but loud

It works well but vibrates a lot. I've started sleeping with earplugs because it jolts me awake when it kicks on. I know they are loud to begin with but it has different noise levels and vibration patterns. The app only works half the time and can't see the status of my ac even with full wifi signal

Buyer Beware

I purchased this unit to upgrade my AC with better efficiency. From the get-go it didn't seem to do that great a job of cooling (my old window unit does a better job). 6 weeks of use and it suddenly made a terrible noise and a literal cloud of black smoke came out of the back. We immediately shut it off and it made a horrible grinding sound for about 30 seconds. I called GE and they said it probably wasn't fixable (no kidding, Columbo...). So quiet!

The directions were easy to follow for the installation. The unit runs so quietly and cools very well . We are very pleased with the unit and would highly recommend it.

Noisy, App is average

The compressor is quiet but the outside unit with the way it cools itself with the fan is 10 times as loud as my other traditional AC units. Can't really hear it inside but more than once I've gone outside thinking I left a sprinkler on somewhere in the yard and had a panic attack. Loud (or annoying) enough, I probably would not have purchased this style unit.

Decent until it’s not

For the cost of the product I was expecting it to last longer than 2 months. I bought it because of the low profile design plus its low power consumption however after 60 days the display has decided to quit. No error codes or anything just all the lights on the display are glowing even after resetting the unit. That being said the 2 months I’ve owned it , it has cooled the house very well and is somewhat quiet.

Great for bonus room

Quiet, efficient, and perfect for my upstairs bonus room office. Cools so well I sometimes have to turn it off! Noise is just a soft hum. Installation was a little scary installing on the second floor but easier than expected, and I love the included insulation extras. Very happy with my purchase!

Love it!

It’s only been a few months, but so far I love it! Easy to clean filter, and the app is so great I can monitor my usage and see an energy saving schedule. 5 stars!

Great air conditioner bad app

This air conditioner is awesome. I love the low profile look and it's quite. The only complaint I have is that every time I try to register on the GE app to use the WiFi features it keeps saying something went wrong try again later. It's been a month now and it's still saying the same message, try again something went wrong.

Great remote when using the iPhone app!

I find it to be very quiet. Install needs two people especially if you’re on in years. Cooling is good but coverage seems to be lacking. This may be due to the lack of direction in the vent. Only blows forward and up/down. No left to right. Seems good on energy but hard to tell with electric out costs going up.
