Would RecommendI LOVE this product!. I can just reach over, touch my reading lamp and go to sleep. No problems. I'm short, so when I have to get out of bed to turn off the lamp, I'm awake when I was just then sleepy. Keep up the good work. Everyone who loves to read in bed, needs to know about this product. This is my second one, I wore out the other one.

Would RecommendI bought this for my mother-in-law to make it easier for her to turn her lamp on and off. The touch control gives you three different levels for each brightness of a three-way lamp, making it effectively a nine-way lamp, if you take the time to use both the touch and knob controls. The instructions say to use a single lamp with the lamp knob set to on, but if three is good, nine is better!

Would RecommendMy wife and I both enjoy the touch control of our lamps in the living room and bedroom. Any regular on/off lamp with a single wattage bulb becomes a three way lamp with these adapters. I guess we're spoiled as we wouldn't go without.

Lasted a whooping 10 days
Would Not RecommendMy last touch on/off lamp plug lasted about 5 years. Then we had a super close lightning strike and it wiped it out. I purchased this one and was already disappointed when I found out it was also a dimmer. I just wanted an on and off. I thought I would get used to the dimmer part. But after 10 days it died (and I used once a night so 10 times total). I would take it back but the package has already been thrown in the recycle can and has been picked up. Love turning on lamp simply with a touch
Would RecommendThis touch lamp control works perfectly. I wanted it for my bedside lamp, and not only does it turn on with a simple touch, it starts dim and gets brighter with each additional touch -- total of 3 levels of brightness, without a 3 way bulb. I don't know why I didn't buy this sooner.

Would Not Recommendbought one of these to try to convert an old metal lamp to a touch lamp. It worked great -- for exactly 3 days. Then it died, and nothing could make it work again. TOTAL waste of money! Should have read the reviews before I purchased it. With so many bad reviews I wonder why Lowes still sells these things.

Would RecommendEasy to setup and works great. I bought this for a lamp for my mom who has advance arthritis. She loves it as she no longer has to struggle with a lamp switch. It has always worked well and I've had it almost a year now and buying a couple more.

Would RecommendThese are great. Have had three for over 5yrs. One stopped working last night and heading to Lowes for another tomorrow. Sounds as if quality control may not be as good now, but I will know within the month because I use it everyday. Will take it back and get another if it stops working as reviewers have stated.

replaced a 10yo touch and glow
Would RecommendGlad to find this type dimmer switch still available. I replaced an ancient touch and glow touch dimmer used on a bedside lamp that just stopped responding to touch. The other one on the opposite side is still ok. Even though it says it is for incandescent only it works with dimmable led bulbs too. I think the warning is so cfl bulbs are not used. These controls do have a lifespan and like anything electronic will quit with surges, or if maximum wattages are not observed. This is rated 200 watts...
