The product description is misleading
Would Not RecommendProduct description didn't specify that item works only on METAL lamps. I don't have a metal lamp. I paid almost half the price of the product for shipping because I'm 80 years old and I don't have any way to get to a store for pickup or return. Now I'm out $19.16 and stuck with a product I can't use. Because of COVID and iinflation, etc. I'm having enough trouble living on my social security without wasting money like this.

Not the best purchase
Would Not RecommendBought 2 returned 1. Haven't been able to make it work correctly. That's why I returned 1. I purchased the correct bulb for the lamp and the lamp meets the criteria for operation. Must be operator error.

Would Not RecommendI practically have to beat the lamp in order for it to dim, to turn on and to turn off. The last dimmer switch I had lasted four years. I just bought this one at Lowe's on Saturday and am going to throw it in the trash and buy something completely different. Why can't companies create high-quality products anymore? This purchase was a complete waste of my money. Thanks so much, Utilitech.

Would Not RecommendThe lamp was turning on by itself several times a day, mainly when I was home. My old one, that I had for many years, did it once in a great while, but this was constant. Also I had to touch it several times at different areas of the base before it would turn on or off. I returned it.

Would Not RecommendI thought it would be neat to have a lamp that you could just touch and turn on, but this "gadget" didn't do the job. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Sometimes you'd have to touch it once, sometimes twice, sometimes three times. It ended it being more of a nuisance than something useful. I returned it.
