Would RecommendThis iron on edging is very easy to use and requires no special tool or equipment to apply. It adhered very well to the rough edge of the MDF and I had no problems applying it. The only tools I used were a pair of scissors and a regular iron. The shelves came out looking great.

I was able to pull the old mauve stuff off (using a heat gun on low to loosen the glue), then I ironed this on in its place. My edge was almost 1.5" wide, so I used two strips of this as someone else suggested.
