What Customers Are Saying
The melamine iron-on edging tape is generally well-received, with customers finding it easy to apply and providing a clean, professional look. However, some users reported issues with the tape being too thin or narrow, and a few had problems with the glue bleeding through or damaging their iron. Overall, the product appears to work well when used as directed, but customers should carefully measure and ensure compatibility with their specific project before purchasing.

Would Not RecommendThe edges of the material were very rough. I actually needed to sand one edge after applying. Lowes needs to find a new supplier for this material.

Veneer Edging too narrow.
Would Not RecommendThe edge band tape doesn't work well with 3/4" melamine board. It needs to be 13/16" or 7/8" to allow for trimming.

Edge banding works and is easy to apply
Would RecommendI had to cut a white melamine shelf to size and needed to cover the cut edge. This banding was perfect in matching color and texture, and covered the thickness of the shelf with a tiny bit left over on each side, that I was able to trim with a "Practical ET-100" edge banding trimmer tool (available online, not at Lowe's). The instructions for application were simple and if followed completely, result in a good bond.

Worked Fine. Easy to Apply.
Would RecommendWill see how it holds up over the years, but simple to apply.

Only good for material less than 3/4 thick.
The biggest drawback is it's the same size as the edges of the melamine boards. Should be7/8 wide. The product did apply without any problem

Would RecommendGood quality and sticks easily on surface with just little ironing

Easy to use
Would RecommendIroned on easily without splintering. Was the perfect size for 3/4” thick melamine boards for a custom closet build. I have a bunch left over and will end up using it for some shelves. Definitely apply on high heat as recommended.
