What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the sleek, modern design and spacious interior with excellent food preservation and smart storage solutions. The counter-depth layout, fingerprint-resistant finish, bottom-freezer design, pull-out trays, and internal water dispenser receive consistent commendation. However, many report significant ice maker problems including malfunctions and excessive noise, and several note the water dispenser also operates loudly. Some mention minor issues like door control panel placement and squeaking gaskets. Despite these drawbacks, most customers consider the appliance a worthwhile kitchen upgrade.

Would RecommendThe location of the control panel is absolutely idiotic. While the fridge works well, ice maker works well too, the panel is way too sensitive. It's also placed right in the middle of the door where your hand and arm can easily hit it thus you can change the internal temp easily without noticing. You can also easily put it in demo mode. Really just a dumb lazy design. There's no reason why the panel could not have been placed inside the fridge or at the very least, higher up on the door. ...
Be sure to close the doors…not automatic
Would RecommendThe counter depth and the bottom pull-out freezer, and the shelf arrangement

Great Refrigerator
Would RecommendI love the bright interior and the pull out shelf. The frig part is more spacious because the ice maker is in the bottom freezer. First time ever i am concerned because it makes too much ice!

There is plenty of room, even for a counter depth!
Would RecommendWhat a great fridge! I love the full width design that offers so much more storage than my previous side-by-side. The pull out tray and water dispenser inside is a welcome feature. I didn’t want an exterior dispenser for ice and water as they were problematic. This is so much better. The freezer is very accessible and has a space for frozen pizza storage which was a surprise. Love it!

counter depth and sleek front
Would RecommendWe wanted a counter depth fridge without an external ice /water dispenser. This unit fits the bill perfectly! Four inches shorter in depth than our last KitchenAid.

30Min. From instal BROKEN & filter stuck
Would Not RecommendBeen a long time kitchen Aid house. Every appliance we have for well over 25 years has been and currently is KA. Our old fridge wasn’t cooling so we bought this pretty fridge. Installers came did their work and left us to unpack the inside of the fridge(tape, styrofoam and install the filter etc), 30 min later the water is not coming out to flush the water filter and the filter is STUCK inside the housing unit(yes I installed it correctly as I have in our other fridge for 10 years). Called LOWES...

Ice maker is annoying - showstopper
Would Not RecommendEvery time you open the freezer ice falls into the bottom of the freezer. There isn't any way to adjust it. I would not have bought this model if I had known this.
Looking for a sleek and modern design, go for it!
