More expensive junk

Poorly made and so loud. Ice maker quite within 2 months just like everyone else.

Refrigerator

2nd Fridge after 5 months!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We purchased the fridge at the beginning of the year and it stopped working in June. We had to get it replaced already under warranty. The original unit was missing a couple of covers for it, so we wondered if it was used to begin with! Let's hope this replacement continues to work and we have no issues!

Poor Quality

As others have stated, this is a few months old and the ice maker has stopped working. The quality of the build is also trash- the KitchenAid logo is missing part of the “K,” and the door seams have insulation or some other material coming out through them.

Ice Maker Problems

Purchased this model 2 months ago as part of a full kitchen remodel, and the ice maker stopped working 2 weeks ago. The unit is also considerably noisier than the 15 year-old unit it replaced. We are still waiting for an ETA on the warranty repair for the ice maker. Unreliable product and terrible warranty service/support. I now regret furnishing the rest of my kitchen with Kitchen Aid appliances.

Terrible

They unpacked my refridgerator and it was damaged and used. My wife waited all morning and they changed the celery time. Now we have to reschedule. Pathetic really.

Defective ice maker

The ice maker has fallen out twice now. Repair person (sent by kitchenaid) says it will just continue to happen, as it’s a design flaw. Our unit is less than a year old, expensive and we have an ice maker that doesn’t work properly.

The first issue is that about half the ice it makes does not come out in cube form. We have read and followed the instructions in the owners manual but the problem still exists. French door refridgerator

Great Features!

This way it is so much easier to quickly see what I have available. It is easier to add groceries and to find specific item. The door bins are wonderful for items that are used often. Buyer Beware

Bought in February 2026. Ice maker no longer functioning. Frost forming inside top freezer drawer. Was told by Whirlpool after 3 day wait for callback no one in Jackson TN could be found to work on their product.? So now I have what is considered a Luxury boat anchor!

Great refrigerator

Great features but numerous issues

Took about 3 months to get replacement part and unfortunately the finish on the replacement does not match the original. The icemaker broke and had to be replaced.
