Not worth the $$

I’ve got this product because I was convinced it was going to be good, considering its price. We have a Wize camera that’s less than half the price this one comes with. The night vision is utterly below the quality of the cheap one we have by comparison. We are also comparing it with the Owlet camera. Definitely is losing here as well. Easy setup, I am still learning what all I can program to do do, and what I can link it to.

No longer works with smarthome assistants

I’ve been using the sensors for about 2-3 weeks now and while they work fine, I’m dissatisfied with them. I had hoped to use them in my Homekit setup to trigger automations, but Ecobee recently removed this capability. I’ll probably end up replacing these with the Aqara ones instead.

Get ready for a surprise

After buying the ecobee for our rental, we put the sensor on the door that we purchased from ecobee just to find out that there’s a monthly fee, which would basically wipe out the savings of having the unit shut off when the doors open? So what’s the sense but it’s too late I can’t get my money back for the sensors now.

Game changer

Ecobee SmartSensors for doors are awesome and really simple to install and have it running. Besides being a great security system with regards to instantly notifying about doors being opened/closed, it also comes with an amazing movement sensor that guarantees that an intruder will not break in without being noticed. It's a 2 in 1 product, that helps you feel safe and protect your family.

App doesn't work with sensors

The sensors show up in the app, but the Ecobee system will not allow the sensors to be integrated with the thermostat. The option is available in the app, but it gives an error when you try to turn the integration on.

Good camera but not worth it if not using HomeKit

Mic and speaker quality are definitely standout features for this camera. I do wish you could mount it upside down but how they made the wall mount moveable between the base and back of the camera is pretty cool. But what keeps it at a 3-star rating for me is that if you aren't using Apple's HSV with an iCloud plan, the value of this camera quickly fades away. It works well and connects to other useful devices

I installed this myself, very easily and feel I have perfect control over zones in my house from anywhere with the help of the sensors and the app. I could not achieved this with other thermostats so easily and affordably. Optional window and door sensors enhance the value of the thermostat because they are so easy to connect and provide reassurance that my home is safe and secure at all times. App provides a wealth of information.

Nice ecobee3 lite easy to use

I decided to give this a try because it would be hard wired to the HAVC system control via the C wire to power the unit. No batteries are needed in the unit. That the package comes with a smart room sensor for extra temperature and occupancy monitoring, a door/window contact sensor for security and pausing HAVC running when door/window is a plus. Simple and Affective

Clean, simple, affective, quick response time. Small magnet has good working range with sensor, magnet doesn't mount well to profiled trim.

Works/doesn't work/slow load/limited features

We have 3 cameras we bought to trial them. The ecobee is the least useful, least dependable, slowest loading. Their thermostats and sensors all work good...camera not so much.

Great motion and occupancy sensor

Great way help keep my home evenly heated. I even use the occupancy sensor to an Automation to turn off the smart bulbs in my living room if they are turned on when The occupancy senses no one in the room. Handy!!!

Good System, Needs More

We've had parts of our system set up about 10 weeks and like the features but want more. It needs an integrated doorbell and exterior cameras to provide complete coverage.
