Lack of quality check for play in the door

Bad washer

Like any other washer I have bought, when I press start I expect it to start right away. The bedding setting does not work. It does not spin and rinse properly. For many settings it indicates "01" time remaining which should be one minute. That one minute lasts indefinitly. i have to cancel the wash cycle to reset

Replacement whirlpool

Efficient, Great Wash Options, Easy Operation

The clothes come out super clean and the spin cycle does a terrific job of wringing out the excess water so dry time is reduced. In terms of performance, it gets the job done, but there is nothing about it that stands out as particularly efficient, user-friendly, or well-designed. My biggest frustration is the cleanout system at the bottom of the machine. Worthy successor to stalwart HE2 Whirlpool

The repair cost didn't make sense so when this model went on sale I purchased the matching pair.
