We would have stayed with LG but licked the microban feature with fan fresh and dry drum. The washer gets five stars but owner's manual only 1 star. LG gives you a nice full manual. Whirlpool should as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 3 months of regular use: Pros: Cleans clothes well. Like the monthly reminder to clean the machine. Cons: Long cycles. A lot of button pushing to get things done ie: power button every time, push and hold for cycle start, can't see the heat or cycle type (light, heavy, etc) with out next level prompts. Great washer!!

With no response from Maytag on my 10 year drive train. I’m sure whirlpool makes great products and will last me over the 10 years .

New, Game Changing Features and Abilities

We had an excellent experience with them, so it made sense to get the same brand. These have so many new and useful features. I like the steam functions in both. That is very useful for me. I should point out that they are quiet.

Quiet

I’m getting use to the panel and even though it’s pre determined cycles are fine I still have to verify if “extra rinse” feature is on every single time.
