So farso good.

Had this same Model washer for six and one half years before spider bracket failed. Repairman said this part fails in six to seven years on a regular basis and that it is better to buy a new machine than have it repaired. I can't find anything that says this problem has been addressed and corrected. I was otherwised pleased with the operation and efficiency of this washer.

Drain pump went bad after two years

I had this washer for two years before the drain pump went bad. It is a $400 part. At that price I might as well buy a new one. I contacted Samsung to see if they would fix it/ give me a new one and they would not do anything for me. I will not be buying anymore Samsung appliances.

Great Washer So Far

We purchased this washer after our expensive whirlpool duet front loader died after 10 years of service. The bearings in the hub of the washer let go and that was it. I had read many reviews online about the Samsung washer and was a little skeptical but for the money we are giving it a try. Leaks

Worst washer ever. Difficult to clean filter and it wants constant attention.

Bad product

Machine had a manufacture defect the top would not close completely I will add a picture. Showed the picture to Customer Service at Lowe’s they replaced the machine immediately. Great customer service. This is my second Samsung machine and I am definitely not pleased with this product.

Bearing failed after 1 year

I had to replace this unit because of a bearing failing.The washer got vert noisy when spinning. The repair was ~$300 and because it was a rental I had to act fast. Unfortunately I had to purchase again the same model because it was a washer a dryer combo with stack configuration.

This was my first Samsung W&D purchase. Not likely to ever purchase again. Clearly the designers of these machines do not have to use them - or HEAR them! - Annoying, waaaay-too-long sound even when sound button is off - really, what needs a 90 minute wash cycle??? How about a soak option instead? - I cannot always choose the specifics that I want. e.g. I cannot choose hot water with certain cycle options, or the spin option - already the buttons aren't working right after less than 6 months ...

Removed Red Stain From White Coat

I spilt a red cider all over my white jacket and this machine got it all out without issue! I was so happy.

Lasted 2-Years Only

We purchased the top load Samsung first and by the second month the control panel needed replacing machine not working properly. Then the recall happened and we were happy to get rid of it. We purchased the front loader and 2-years later the machine runs forever and wont spin properly. If i leave the clothes washing and leave it unattended, it will continue to wash for many hours. Never again xant trust the brand it spoke to me to go buy another brand tomorrow.

Used to love this washer!

My previous Samsung front loader last for 7 years. This one, only 3. For the first 2 years, this washer was good. Cleaned everything in a short time and excess water was removed, making it easier to dry. This past year, this washer started behaving badly. 30 minutes left in a wash took 45-50 minutes. 6 minutes took 15. Dies quickly

I expect to get 5 - 10 years out of a washer. This one lasted 3 years before it sprang a leak. I opened the washer and found the cause of the leak. A screw came off a clamp. I tried to tighten the clamp and it worked for a few loads. It's leaking again. While the washer works, it does leak on the floor. My word of advice, get a 5 year warranty from Lowe's if you're going to buy this.
