Worst washer I've ever owned

We had this washer for approximately 4 years...we got it because it was nice and we were really excited to buy our first new appliances so we got what we though were nice ones...boy were we wrong. In 4 years we've had to have technicians come outer around 7-8 times just to fix it. It would leak everywhere (we had to have that fixed 4 times), the motor went out twice, and just recently we had to just buy a new washer because the motor, the motherboard, and other mechanical/electrical items stoppe...

It cleans the close! It is a bit noisy however it does its job. Had to call the company out to look at the product they were beyond thourough and helpful. Would buy again.

Don't do it!

there are barely enough words to describe the level of frustration, disappointment and time wasted on buying this washing machine. after multiple visits from a 3rd party contractor trying to fix the washing machine - after they identified significant internal damage...you would think that they would be able to fix the issues, and have a normal, relatively quite washing machine. clearly i was wrong. i am now out of warranty, and waiting for the day that my machine explodes, and i will buy a new ...

Lasts just until warranty runs out!

We have had this washer for 14 months and the drum needs replacing! It costs more to repair than we paid for it. Not a good appliance!

Don't buy this product

This product was a replacement for a previous Samsung with a broken tub after 9 years however the noise from the new machine was horrific when spinning. shaking and banging the dryer closeby. Multiple repair trips replaced many parts per bulletins from Samsung. The replacements did not fix the problem of the loud noise and shaking of the machine when spinning. Last call to Samsung and they did not have anyone to repair so they allowed us to replace however never with another Samsung.

I do not recommend

Washer broke down within 2.5 years. It would cost us $600 to fix it. Our repair guy suggested strongly against Samsung laundry appliances and recommendeds whirlpool or GE.

Junk

Purchase this washer just over 3 years ago, had nothing but problems with it. Machine has been serviced 2 different times under the extended warranty that I purchased and tried to get it taken care of a 3rd time and they were a no show, now is out of warranty and will not finish a cycle. Same problem every time. Constantly gets stuck on rinse and spin cycle, and never fully rings cloths out. Now my dryer is dieing because washer will not spin water out of clothes.

I'll never use a front load washer again

almost 6 months after purchase this machine started leaving stains on clothes. discontinued using liquid softener, cleaned the boot after every use, reduced load size, still leaving stains on the whites. never experienced issues like this with any other machine. finally replaced it after only a year with an lg top load. problem solved.

You call this a washing machine?!

This machine is garbage. Clothes come out dirty, sometimes dry. The worst machine I have ever owned. I will never buy or own another Samsung appliance.

5yrs and counting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s my old faithful. Well lol not old yet but I plan on keeping this baby until it doesn’t tick anymore. Never used a heavy load but that’s my superstition since using top loaders. Already recommended it to a bunch of family members. Easy to use. Could be slicker but I guess that’s why the newer ones are seamless. I can wait for an upgrade.

Not happy

i bought a samsung washer and dryer 4 years ago. now my washing mashing is making loud noises in the spin cucle and shakes. ive done all the recommendations to fix it bit still is noisy. not happy...

Very quiet

does rugs very well. what i have a problem with is trying to connect my iphone to it. it is such a pain and i am unable to connect even with youtube guidance. too bad i can't just scan a code and connect like other products do. it's too hard for us normal non tech people to cope with.

Didn't last long

i logged on to the review page and the 1st review is exactly the same issue as mine. a review titled "longevity". well mine lasted 2.5 years before the drum bearing went out. i feel bad for the writer of that review, fortunately we have a home warranty that is paying for the expensive repair. i was so hoping they would just replace it, but i guess i will start saving for a new one in another 2.5 years

Junk, don't waste your money

the seal holds moisture which makes the drum smell no matter how many times you clean it. it also puts grease marks on your clothes. the extra warranty they sell you does not cover smell and damage to your clothes. i learned my lesson. never again samsung. really junk!!

Unreliable

our experience with samsung as a company is less than reliable. from cell phones to now appliances, we were entirely a samsung fan. the drain pump has failed 15 months into service and we're being told we're on our own. we understand the concept of warranties but we bought a top tier product expecting it to operate longer than 15 months. now samsung is telling us it's our problem. ok, we'll be buying more reliable products (from reliable companies) from now on.

Worked well for 2-years

Then, the main board went out and it will cost as much to fix it as purchase a new one. Very disappointed in the longevity of this machine.

Have to babysit my washing machine

worked great for about 6 months. now it struggles to balance itself with every load. i had a repairman come look at it, and he showed me a clip inside was loose, so he put it back into place. however, after a load or two, it went right back to the problems. i'm not going to tear my washing machine apart every time i do a load of laundry. so, to remedy this, i never get to use "high" spin speed. i'm usually stuck on low or no spin, but i still have to check it and rearrange clothes constant...

Fail from the start

on our first washing attempt after setup, the machine violently shook itself across the floor ripping out the drain and powecord. upon making sure that it was level and adding gripping pads to the feet the second run did much the same as the detergent tray and main door flung open.

Leaking in year 4

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] frustratingly, we're having water drain onto the floor with every load now. looks like a seal is worn off and now we're concerned about damage as the water isn't getting to our drain. of course, the warranty ran out a year ago for things like this. is there anything that can be done?
