Doesn't last

Washer is fine except it should last more than 6 years. The control panel is stuck on one setting and cost of repair is crazy!

Inverter board gone in 4.5 years

Purchased brand new in Aug '19. Doesn't spin anymore and replacing inverter board will cost ~500$.

Tub bearing out in 3 1/2 years

Bought this washer in April of 2020, it is September 2023 and the tub bearing has gone out and I now need a replacement washer.

Lasted only 3 years

I have to replace this machine after 3 years. Had one repair within the 1st year and now the bearings are bad

Love this washer! Clothes come out clean clean clean! The vrt is great! Can’t hear it hardly! But need help to figure out the “my cycle” part.

Garbage after less than 10 years

Worked great at first. Now it leaks, parts either not available or will cost more to replace than to buy a new machine. Repair tech said unit could flood our basement at any time. Also rusting at front top left, under detergent drawer. I will NEVER buy a Samsung washer again

worst washer ever

A year after purchasing this washer, it never was balanced not quiet and the drain pump failed. I replaced it and a year later it failed again.

4 years old & had to replace already - TERRIBLE

4 years old and have had 2 issues: 1.) year 2.5 the front display would turn on but not recognize any selections, had to be replaced; 2.) year 4 the drum had to be replaced. We bought a whole new washer at this point. FOUR YEARS…from the many reviews I am reading this is consistent with this brand. Disappointing I bought the set, because now I don’t have matching washer/dryer.

The motor broke in it after having this for 4 years

DO NOT BUY

Washing machine broke exactly one month after warranty expired. Samsung charged me $200 for an onsite visit where they told me to just buy a new washing machine.

The worse by far

By far the worse washer machine I've had only had it for 3 years and my cycles will feel wetter than normal in each cycle, gave me error code, and now it just stopped spinning it will not do anything and I've only had it for 3 years not overloading it, not over using it, it is by far the worse.

Wore down and loud!

Have had for over five years. Used daily. Wore down and vibrates and makes so much noise it sounds like a helicopter in our house when we run it. Bad smell when using liquid he detergent. Powder he has no smell. We are done with front loaders.

Every 2 years something breaks

i love samsung products but dang does this machine disappoint. got the washer on 2/2018. about 2 years ago the water pump needed to be replaced. now another 2 year passes by and the machine keeps turning on and off. can't complete a wash cycle. yet alone let it run for 3 mins without it restarting. i've unplugged it, cleaned the drainage areas but still have this problem. research suggest a bad pcb board which is a pretty expensive part.

Don't buy a samsung washer!

As a brand for TVs, phones, laptops I love samsung. Having said that, just because those items need complex computer controls it doesn't mean those computer controls belong in a washer. Not built to last more than 5 years

was great while it worked, but suddenly it started to make a loud noice when spinning. broken bearing, more expensive to fix than to get a new one. sad to see a perfectly good looking machine end up in a landfield. would have been ok with there was any sort of warrantly offered on the very expensive repair.

Broken twice since purchasing a year ago

My wife hates this washer, it doesnt clean well, some fabrics keep a residual smell even after heavy wash. Water pump went out once, now throwing an SE code.

Terrible maintanence

the washer works fine... the issue is the maintanence. the debris filter is impossible to remove. you'll cut up your knuckles and have to use so much force pushing in then turning left that you'll break the housing unit for the debris filter. terrible filter. for that reason alone, avoid his model. you can do internet search for samsung debris filter can't remove or something along those lines... and see how much of a pain it is.

Samsung 4.2-cu ft Stackable Door Seal Failure

This washing machine was priced low but the door seal failed 10 months into it's service life. I wouldn't recommend this product based on the premature failure of the door seal. After a period of time the lower lip of the seal developed a pucker which eventually turned into a water leak which spilled onto the floor during operation.

Smart Home connection

i throughly enjoy the washing machine and it has worked perfectly for the last 5 years. my question is, i have looked hi and low on how to connect it to the smart home app. my washer model is wf18h5000aw/ax and s/n 0dbu5aej300910m. no matter what i do, i cannot get it to connect to my phone app. (fyi i have a samsung galaxy s10+) can this model connect to the app? thanks for your help.
