Absolutely Fantastic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took a while (2 months) to get the oven ... but, once installed, it looks great and operates in every mode, flawlessly. Very glad I purchased this microwave/convection oven ... controls are easy to understand and use and the unit is relatively quiet. KitchenAid did a great job with this oven.

The smartest microwave I've ever owned ;-)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that it is our microwave, but also going to be an oven addition for holiday dinners. Haven't had the chance to use the convection part of it yet, but had the most amazing bag of popcorn the first time I used it!! Cooks very evenly and has some sort of sensing built in to where it just "knows" when the popcorn is is ready. Have heated up multiple items in it for about a week now (just moved in), everything seems to be in working order. ...

Almost perfect

I’ve had this microwave for a year and a half with a few minor issues. Once in a while when I turn on the microwave function the turntable doesn’t spin and it doesn’t seem to heat up, but when I cancel and try again it’s completely fine. Lately the tone indicating completion of cooking doesn’t sound. All other tones work so I have to check that the timer has run down to confirm that cooking is complete. Not sure if this can be fixed!?

Two repairs, now replacing

Within 3 years had to spend $200 repairing first time. Less than 2 years later another $200. I’ve had counter tops that cost less than $50 last 15 years with no issues. Also bought the convection oven at the same time, it had to be repaired less than 4 years. Will not buy kitchen aid moving forward.

This plus a regular oven = functional kitchen

Longer cooking times.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit as part of a kitchen renovation. It was installed under my counter. Unfortunately, I have to use the lock buttons because the control panel is extra sensitive and I have turned it on so many times just brushing by it. The cooking times are so much longer than my old unit. It has taken some time adjust. I am thankful to have the convection addition in case I need two ovens.

Attractive but with serious hazard problems

RAZOR SHARP corners at the front that cut our hands, chin and arm. Door will not stay closed, light comes on. Pops packaged popcorn but not plain kernels in a brown bag like other microwaves.Not enough preset buttons.

Love my new microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this microwave along with other Kitchen Aid appliances for my new kitchen. It is installed in my island. So far, we are cery happy with it. It was a lot more expensive than a regular under counter microwave. It has a little trouble with popcorn, but everything else seems to be at standard cooking times. It also converts to a convection oven; this the larger price tag.

Love the Crisp Cooking Feature

This microwave came with the built-in appliances of a new home two years ago. I am moving and will buy this microwave again and have it built into my new home. as I am spoiled now with it's features. I had never had a "crisp" convection microwave before so got out the manual to learn how to use it - and so glad I did! The Crisp feature is the best thing they've come up with in a microwave.....No need for a toaster oven. Cook pizza in it, French fries. I even "fried" breaded catfish in...

Powerhouse oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Totally thrilled with this microwave once it was installed. This is a power machine that requires a pro electrician to install and hardware. Also, I wish there was better support for the trim kit options. I had to have custom trim made myself.

Great oven & microwave combined

We love the oven. It has a great look and the features are pretty good. I love not having to fire up the oven in our range for small stuff. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with either a wall oven or range as an additional oven.

Best Microwave I have ever had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave is easier to use than any I have ever installed. It is large, powerful and the touch screen is perfect. The "ON" button is not hidden in a slew of buttons that are never used, instead it is clear and separate. Installation was easy and there is no $500 trim kit to buy.
