Needs some engineering!!

The latch on the door that indicates the door is 'closed' or 'open' is engaging...and I have to give the door an extra hard push to be sure it engages the latch. Maybe the gasket is wearing off? Both the convection cooking and the every day microwave use have been easy to do and the controls are very intuitive. Even the cleaning is easier than the oven that I replaced.

Good machine if expensive, but support is poor

Instead of providing the pan, Kitchen Aid makes you register your appliance. I did so, received the confirmation e-mail for the registration, but as of this moment (6 weeks later), I still have not received the pan or any confirmation that it is coming. Crooked KitchenAid plaque

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven functions work well however, the included crisper pan which must be ordered is never available and the panel only lights for the clock making it difficult to see when it is below the countertop. This is a feature you would expect on an expensive appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my 16 year old GE Monogram convection oven/microwave with this one. Nice microwave, not as sexy as my old one, but works well. I wish the light inside was brighter, as you can barely see what is inside. Also, not having an owner's manual in printed form (provided with the product) is annoying....

No regrets!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Hard to find this size of microwave, looks great with matching wall oven. Good quality, easy to use functions. Generous interior. Still waiting for the crisper pan that is sent separately. Love Kitchenaid appliances.

Does practically everything

It took several months to get this replacement when the first one arrived broken. That's mainly because it's a 27 inch model. So far works great, matches the other appliances, and can bake cookies, be a warming oven, but also microwave.

Great Features, Solid Build

I am happy with the improvements KitchenAide has made with better door hinges, touch controls and additional features like Steam Cook. There are more feature-rich combo microwaves out there for a much higher price, but for my needs, this unit is a solid choice

Some I can figure out but I believe this information should be included with purchase and not have to search internet for such an expensive machine

Exceeded my expectations

I no longer use my air fryer with the crisp setting, replaced my steamer with the steaming feature, and it still performs as a great microwave. The one thing I would add would be a 30 second reheat option.

Disappointing

Less than three years old and has stopped beeping when cooking time has finished. Also power seems weak, takes a longer time than other microwaves to heat food.

This microwave needs a much better user guide.
