Great Smoke Alarms!
I replaced a number of our old 12+ years old hardwired smoke detectors with the Kidde i12060 units. It only took me ~12 miutes per unit, and that included moving the step ladder around and replacing the old wiring harnesses with the new ones. Our old units all had to be removed in order to replace the battery, what a nuisance that was. Now, we look forward to simply opening the battery compartment from the front. From the time I ordered the alarms to the time I received them was 5 days--WOW!

Great Smoke Detectors
Recently two of my installed smoke detectors (there are 6 in the house) died. The house was built in 2005 and the detectors were all dated 2004. I decided to replace all 6 at the same time and the people at Kidde were very, very helpful with selecting the right product at a great price.

Easy install. Maybe a bit too sensitive
Bought these to replace a couple of 15 year-old alarms that were made by a company Kidde bought. The installation was easy, even despite having to change the connector. Having battery accessible without removing from the ceiling is great, as the former kind was a pain. The CSR on the phone was also VERY helpful.
