Eventually swapped out
The first i12060 smoke detector I ordered came in an opened worn-out box. Needless to say that smoke detector didn't work. It was eventually swapped out and now I have a working product, hints the reason for the 1 star in quality. -Respect always Mr. Stephen Wilson

Terrible Smoke Alarm
Received eight of these smoke alarms installed in my new house from the builder. Within 4 months four of the eight had malfunctioned and would frequently set off the entire system in my house, waking up my entire family in the middle of the night. I had the builder replace all eight. Now 9 months after replacing all eight I've already had three malfunction either continually chirping (even after replacing the battery) or setting off the entire system. Terrible product, would not recommend. ...

Excellent Product
We have two of these installed in unheated/uncooled eve space for extra protection. Despite being exposed to extreme heat and cold, they lasted a very long time, almost 8 years until they had to be replaced.
