Disappointing Quality. Mini Leatherman are much better. Some good features but the plier and scissor are toys. First time I used plier one side broke off with very little pressure applied. Haven't found anything the scissors will cut yet. Other blades have been useful.

design flaw
The anodizing at the tip of the narrow ends get scratched off every time i open and close the tool to access the pliers. Although the angled design looks good at first, just few times of opening and closing the tool scraps off enough anodizing to leave a visible mark even when the tool is closed. Its a good tool otherwise. Wish i bought the green or red instead though

This is a well made and compact multi-tool, minus the tweezers which are not the best. I had hoped to use this on my keychain but it is just too heavy for me personally.

After loads of research trying to find the perfect EDC MT I found it in the Dime. The tool selection is excellent in this size of EDC. Quality is above average and I'm sure this MT will be in my inventory for generations. I've never owned a package opener but have to say that after discovering this device on the Dime I can now enjoy birthdays and holidays without the worry of dealing with those pesky plastic packages! I live around citrus farms and the package opener serves as an excellent peele...

Perfect Pocket Tool, until...
Loved this tool...very versatile. After a few months of ownership, was cutting-up boxes with knife blade and bar that prevents blade from opening too far bent. Tried to fix it, but broke the hex screw for the hinge when tightening. Construction and durability a concern.

Great tool. Kept in on my key chain for years, until TSA made me leave it at airport security. It's so small you forget it has a blade that you can't fly with. Luckily they make a travel version now that I think I'm going purchase!

Does everything you need
It does everything you need it to do with no problem. The blade is super sharp and I mean super sharp. I only had one problem and it was my fault, not Gerber. The pliers bent because I applied to much pressure and bent it but that was my fault, not the tool. The paint comes off really easy but it doesn't bother me. I know others it will but not for me. It does the job and thats what I bought it for.

bad steel
bad steel Gerber!!! Charge us more for 154CM like on the gator series and you would have the best ever keychain multitool. The current steel is like ice that does not melt, it gets sharp, but then you cut something and you have to sharpen it again

Goodbye Pocket Knives...
I've always carried a pocket knife until I stumbled upon this little piece of engineering. Compact and light, it carries in your pocket as any pocket knife would. Handles light duty jobs well. I would have ditched the "retail package opener" for a serrated blade or saw. Also the scissors are difficult to sharpen since they only open to a fixed position. Still very pleased with it. I even picked one up for my brother given the good price point. I will be looking to Gerber for any multi tool, forg...

Bad Steel
It is a great tool, but BEWARE!!! the steel is quite bad. It is almost like trying to sharpen ice that will not melt. As soon as you get a nice edge on it, after a little bit of use it would have dulled again. The Scissors are too small to use and the steel makes them have a short life as it is practically impossible to sharpen. Not rust though. Gerber, you should just make a better "pro" version with AUS 8, 8Cr13MoV, VG-10, etc. and have it more expensive like the gator, which has the 154 CM ve...

Awesome tool
Every day that I leave the house without this in my pocket, I regret it. It comes in handy in more ways than I can imagine, especially the pliers and the tweezers. My only complaint is that the bottle opener is a litle small, so it is hard to use, but it gets the job done. Also it is not extremely durable, mine broke when I put pressure sideways on the knife, but I was using it for the wrong job and I can't really blame the thing. Still ordering a replacement.

Great, but . . . . .
I love this little tool but after about 6 months of ownership, I somehow put too much pressure on the plier handles and bent the backing spring that secures on jaw of the pliers, rendering them useless. Minus one star for durability issues.

Love the design however the first time I went to use the pliers the jaws broke trying to fix a key ring . I swear by my Gerber pocket knives but not sure I would buy the dime again.

I bought this 4 months ago and it hasn't left my pocket since well except to use it. No excuse not to have a multi tool on you when it only weighs 2 ounces. If I ever lose it, I will buy a new one right away.

Very good
I couldn't tell you how much times this multi tool saved the day, from replacing mig pliers to pulling out ingrown toenails.

Dime owner / user
This is my favorite pocket tool of all time. However, I’m not sure why anyone would use the small scissors when a sharp knife is available. The Dime could be improved by replacing the scissors with a can opener like the EVO Tool has. I’d find that far more useful.

Great little knife! Best mini multi tool I have come across! Scissors could use some work, they are marginal at best, but other than that, its great!
