Great Product Great Warranty. Its a Buy.

I got one of these . After 4 years one day using the pliers , it broke. I contacted Gerber and they replaced it for free. I am very happy with the product and the warranty. I m gonna buy more Gerbers for my kids soon.

Handy EDC multitool

This is a great option for a small EDC multi tool (every day carry). Although it isn’t near as beefy as its larger siblings, it is still very thought out and has decent functionality. Because of its size, I carry it daily in the watch pocket of my blue jeans. Tow big bonuses are the external bottle opener that can be used without “opening” the tool up. Smaller than it look.

Bought this product as a back up to my leatherman. I thought this multi-tool is of the same product size like Leatherman’s sidekick etc but to my disappointment. The product name suggest it ‘Dime’. Gerber Ad Dept was good to showcase the look as a bigger multi-tool. This product might be good in an office but not in the garage.

Needs work...

Get rid of the Package opener (use the space for a lengthened flathead or Phillips), lengthen the Flathead and the Phillips drivers and fix the horrible file. Then the tool would be almost perfect.

Save your money and time. Just get a leatherman.

Would of been decent had the pliers not completly snapped off while I was tightening a small nut. Had one of these for a while on my keychain. Really only liked 2 tools on it, the bottle opener and the package opener. Used the pliers for small jobs maybe a handful of times. Tried to contact Gerber about a replacement and havnt heard back in about a month. You get what you pay for I guess.

Great tool, highly reliable

Served me well for 8 years. Never rusted, was always sharp and never needed oil. Sad TSA found it more useful than i did

Great Product, Wish there were replacement parts.

Got mine several moths ago, since then the springy bit on the scissors broke off and the tweezers completely split in half.

I had a Gerber dime I love the brand, I've had a shard around my neck since they came out. I got the dime was using the pliers got frustrated squeezed and they broke. The handle snapped I was so disappointed I just threw it away. I have a diesels bulky and not a easy carry sometimes. but the dime just seemed easier to carry.

Dropped it in the snow

I dropped mine in the snow a few months ago and I found it yesterday and it still works fine

Dime and money clip....

Dime& money clip they are sharp and top of finishing. Use both. Once Gerber replace my dime because of damages for free...

Always needed

Iv had Gerber tools for years adding new tools with old, and this thing come in handy for small repair or service items that require small tools, always a need always a use thanks Gerber

Best Pocket Tool Ever

Bought one few years ago and put it on my key ring along with a mini-Mag mini flashlight- both go with me everywhere. Amazing combination for any situation. Gerber Dime has been used so many times and has been through some hard use....keeps holding up and doing the job! Use it more than my Leatherman!

Works fine

No, the pliers won't crack the nuts on your 24 inch GMC tires, or cut 8AWG cable, but if you use it for the little things as intended, it works fine.

use it regularly

perfect mini-tool on the kitchen counter to grab and use for dozens of lightweight jobs. package opener is super useful. if you need to wrench on something with all your weight go get some full-size pliers. gonna gift to my team next year.
