Love the GE Profile ACs

Great app. One was damaged, even though the packaging was unharmed - apparently a manufacturing/distribution QA miss. Oh well, it's only a cosmetic dent and cooling fin warp. Still, buyer beware

Installation wasn’t hard but does take two people to place the unit in the window, it’s heavy. Instructions were easy to understand and everything worked perfectly. I’m very pleased with this window air conditioner.

Cool as Ice

Great unit

It seems to hallucinate a lot temperature wise

It's fine for a week, holding the near exact temperature I set, next week it won't keep the room within even 5 degrees of the set temperature. Very odd system. When it is holding the temperature, it is great but when it starts hallucinating, then it is terrible. Energy cost seems good at all times. Installation was simple. Seems quiet, quieter than most others.

Quick Failure and Unbearable Noise

Stay Away

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolute junk. It was explained to me that I had to manually remove condensate for the unit to work. Setting my alarm for every 15 minutes to remove condensate while I try to sleep at night seems a little excessive to avoid the P1 error code. It was also confirmed if you don't live in a desert, this unit should be returned.

Over all not bad.

I've had this unit going on a year now. We had new windows put in just before the hurricane last year and my wife went into labor just before the storm so I went out and got this unit....lucky I did we had no power for over a week and using the generator this thing kept us cool. SUPER Easy Install!

I bought this AC to replace a recalled Midea ac ( which I will never buy again) The GE unit was very easy to install and included everything needed. NO DUCT TAPE REQUIRED! My only complaint is the mention in the owners manual to "not use this unit below 70 degrees"...what that all about? I run mine all year long, even during the winter.

No invertor

Great Features!

Even though the temperature range doesn't go down as far as my old Midea at 62, and this unit tops out at 64 degrees it's so much more efficient and quiet. Installation was easy and I love being able to control it from my phone. The air quality is great and it's lowered my monthly cost.

Wifi control works great but had trouble adding it to my google home, so I'm using the GE app to control. 8300 btu unit cools my 440 sf shop, which is in southeast Texas, very well on a hot August day. Failed after 5 months of use

It has a good design but quality it’s questionable, I decided to give GE a shot and the air conditioner failed after 5 months of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the air conditioner once you figure out how to get it set up It was a little annoying navigating the instructions- Also - be careful that your window opens wide enough for it to fit under It should be written nice and BIG on the outside of the box Because you can’t return it to the store! Be careful and measure first!

Very quite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is very quite and nice to be able to turn it on and off when I ant home only problem j see is it blows the air up to ceiling and not start across the room so have to have fans to help push the cold air down. But it's nice to have most my window back with the low seating feature it has and fits almost any side width window.
