Just two Years old

Will start, but then Ends without going thru wash cycle, then "door" flashes across panel. Technician changed door lock, no luck. Hooked up his computer, it's the Control Board. Changed Control Board, no luck and the 10yr limited warranty is for the Motor ONLY!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY GE...

Great features

The washer is extremely low noise. So many features and many loads

Won’t last long

When the washer works, it’s great. Unfortunately, we will not get more than 4 1/2 years use out of it. It has proven impossible to fix this time around.

Paid a lot…didn’t hold up

Within 5 years…all belts replaced Water intake ( sounded like machine falling apart) This is from two person household

Worked great! ..for the first 3 years

At year 3, the washer started leaking. At year 4, I had to replace the main control board and inverter board. We use the washer twice a week with medium sized loads, nothing abnormal. We went with GE

GE FRONT LOADER WASHER ULTRAVENT

I love it, it has a big capacity and I can do my laundry in no time especially since it can communicate via wifi to my phone. Easy to use cycles and especially the quick wash help when you don't have as much laundry and as messy. It is very quiet 🤫 during uses.

Do not recommend

Washer had died 3times in the last 5 years. Mother board short circuited every time. Do not recommend. Finally over it and bought a new set from another manufacturer.

horrible machine

havent had this washer for two years yet, and having problems!! Estimate to fix was the same as what we paid for it Very disappointing decided to buy a Speed Queen instead of getting it fixed this machine has all kind of trouble

Replace parts electrical door locks.

[Employee of ge_appliances] This is our 2nd GE front load washer that has needed attention due to the mother board, door lock mechanism. The machine like our last one decides after 4 yours to quit working in one way or another. GE used to be a great product. I'm looking into Ultra lux or LG

I have purchased this unit and 1 year later it’s died because of main board failure. Don’t buy this

Not worth it! I bought this 09/2023.

Control panel is broken as per the technician. I am not sure how is that happened and absolutely This is not worth the money, I also bought a Lowe’s 3 yr protection plan. They scheduled the technician the next day but they couldn’t repair it because the parts need to order and he mention it will take 1 week or a month. Which is ridiculous amount of waiting! I contacted Lowe’s protection they can’t do anything and I have to contact the third party vendor who they assigned for repair to get the s...

Buyer Beware

Where to begin? Well let's start with at 15 months it stopped draining water, and just stopped powering on. Prior to it ceasing to work the spin cycle sounded like a C-130 aircraft taking off and landing. I can't overstate how disappointed I am with this machine. I can't in faith recommend this product to anyone, other than perhaps my ex-wife. Both she and this machine were both loud and refused to work

Problems after 1.5 years

We bought this in December of 2023 and only 18 months later, there's a major problem where the door locks, then unlocks, then locks, and throws an error message. Since it's out of warranty, we replaced the door lock thinking that was it. Nope. Same thing. More diagnosing led to an error code pointing at the power inverter board. Replaced that, same problem. It’s really frustrating to spend so much on a GE front load washer only to have problems after just two years—especially when the warranty has just expired. It feels unfair to have to pay for repairs so soon, and I’ve noticed a lot of others are having similar issues, especially with the main boards going out. Great for a few yrs but! Beware!

Had this for a few yrs and door lock went out. Replaced the lock and still has multiple codes. Ge wants to replace motor, control board and inverter board! Motor is under warranty but nothing else. Really? It’s 5yrs old. Was a beautiful set until now. Now it’s giant garbage.
