Beware of quality issues!!!

We loved the machine ... when it worked. But we are now just about 18 months into ownership, and the machine no longer works... with a potential repair bill being more than 50% the cost of the washer!!! Where has the GE quality gone?!?!?

Very happy

My new washer and dryer were installed yesterday. I’ve just used the washer and am very happy with the initial washing. The dryer is currently drying the first load. So far so good. I’m new to the front loaders as I have always had the top loaders. Can tell I am going to enjoy the change as it is much easier pulling the loads out. This is my first GE washer and dryer. However, my folks had theirs for years. I know their original lasted over 20 years. I know products don’t last like they used to...

Garbage reliability

Washer didn't even last 2 years. The dispenser says empty when its full and service can't come for over a week. Would not recommend any GE appliances as they don't last over a year.

Stopped working in less than 2 years!

We purchased this washer and the matching dryer just under 2 years ago. Today the washer stopped running - 3 days before Christmas with a full house of family coming to town tomorrow! The power goes on/off every 40 seconds - huge number of complaints on reddit regarding the same issue. This is unacceptable to spend this kind of money for a brand new set and to have it stop working after less than 2 years! Fantastic Machine

Wash anything. This machine can handle it all. I love that I can fill it just twice a month with detergent.

1 year in and broke

just out of warranty and both washer and dry have had the door locks fail within one week of each other.

JUNK JUNK JUNK AND GE SUCKS

Do not buy this machine, its absolutely junk and GE will not do anything to replace mine. I have been in contact with GE since September of 2023 calling them every single month. Started with a leak that ended up being the detergent drawer, fixed it then the door kept saying that it was open and the cycles wouldn't start. After many many techs and parts later my unit was deemed unrepairable. GE is now stating they cannot offer a refund because i didn't call enough times while my unit was in warra...

Garbage

Garbage, owned 1 year 2 months and now doesn’t drain, spent the past 3 days working on it and still a piece of garbage.

Frustrated Disappointed

Bought a GE based on repair recommendations. Loved the washer and even the features I did not know I would like or use (smart features, auto dispenser). But just at the year mark the washer totally died. GE customer service seemed great, only took 2 days to get someone out to look at machine. Diagnosis = parts needed and those parts take 7-14 BUSINESS days to arrive. poor quality control

It is great when it works. The only problem is that it started having issues after only 2 years of regular light use. The washer jump around cycles which makes it not finish whatever cycle you select because it could be in the middle of it and for whatever reason it switches to a different cycle and it cancels the previous one in the middle even with water on the inside.

Love the features and the color!

I really like this washer, and all the features it has, it is making my washing time more easier and joyful, also it finish the job in less time than my previous washer, and it does a great job. I also love the deep blue color.

Not the best purchase

A good looking appliance that falls short of the hype! After owning this appliance for over 2 years, there are times when the tub will not fill with water. This becomes a pain in the butt, when you program everything to run only to return and see that nothing has happened! It is true what people say about warranties, if you don't buy one, expect your device to break when the time has expired!

Frustrated with the quality

I bought the washer and dryer set a year ago and just 12 days past delivery date while doing a load of towels the door locks a burning smell is emitting from the air and the door will not open. Very frustrating to be so new and in pristine condition. I love the color the options and the huge drum for my bedding. Most of the parts are plastic which is a little scary. First time buying GE and depending on the outcome, may be my last!

Water not filling

This is the second time within a year we having the issue of the machine operating but no water dispensing into the drum.The clothes come out the same way you load it unwashed.

13 months old & stopped draining

Waste of thousands on this set. Junk after 13 months. Figures... just enough to be out of warranty.

Low water Use? Not enough water to clean!!

Washing machine implies some is being washed. Impossible without water. The thing is sold as low water use, well it sure is. Unfortunately you have to run it twice or three times to get dirty clothes clean. Or hassle pausing the machine to add a couple buckets of water. But be careful! Otherwise it just cancels the whole thing and all of the soap and other cleaning products go down the drain I absolutely hate this washing machine

GE SUCKS!

Washer broke and wouldn't unlock door after the first year. WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER GE!

Garbage

Bought it 2 years ago , used twice at week and it broke . Totally wasted my money on a fuc… expensive machine. Do not buy it . Also doesn’t wash well the clothes

Great Features!

Wonderful product. Very pleased.it is very heavy and hard to move around if needed to do around the room for cleaning.

Great Design

This washer is gorgeous, functional and just perfect all around. I love that I was able to swap out the door so the washer and dryer could open together rather than back-to-back. It was very easy to swap out. I love that the washer figures out how much water to use.
