broke in 5 months

After 5 months, the washer would no longer respond to the "start" button. A GE repairman came out and indicated it would need a new electronics board. Based on his estimate, we will now be without a washer for nearly 3 weeks. We asked Lowe's GE for a new washer replacement given that we received a defective one and it is still under the first-year warranty, and they refused since it is "repairable". Unacceptable.

A perfect fit

Love it, it was the only washer that I could find that would fit in the area where the old washer was located.

Replaced a "European" machine that was much more expensive and always had problems. The GE is better by far!

Works great

I bought the washer about 3 months ago. Use only the quick wash cycle and my clothes comes out clean. I only use 1/3 tablespoon of detergent each load.

Leaks

I bought this 2months ago and had the repair man twice. Three problems. One the detergent dispenser draw leaked. Number two there is a noise when it spins out. And last we cannot run the spin on high because it shakes to much. The draw was replaced and still leaks occasionally when you add just a little bit more of detergent than it likes. We were told that there is nothing that can be done to live with it. And we were told not to run the machine on high spin because it is not on a concrete floo...

Fast dry and quiet working

I have not had the washer in my apartment and it was very inconvenient to wash. I am really happy to use such an efficient machine.

Amazingly efficient and dependable

We bought this as part of a total kitchen renovation and it fits in handsomely ,(alongside our new GE Dryer). It even plays Schubert at the end of its cycle.

Horrible product

Terrible appliance. Gets mildew in places that you cannot clean. Has broken several times and of course it's out of warranty! Do not buy!!!'

Poor Choice- Avoid

These units have proved problematic since purchasing. An over abundance of Water remains in the detergent tray after each load. The clothes rarely come out spin dried. I frequently have to put loads through an extra spin cycle to have them barely able to use in the dryer. The dryer is not much better having permanently scarred a favorite comforter with unrepairable holes in the fabric. Also have to frequently reset drying times because clothes are not drying during the first run. So disap...

We bought this as a supplemental washer (with the stackable dryer and kit) for a small space. It works perfect the small space. It doesn't hold a lot, but it also isn't meant for a huge family.

I bought these units in October of 2017 and love them.

It's Fine

The spin cycles are fairly terrible and the wash timer is garbage. We watched it get stuck on 18 minutes while not spinning (but on spin) for 30 minutes once, but clothes get clean. I wouldn't purchase again but we had to due to size constraints. Also, there's this bizarre design element of an extra plastic plate on the front that rattles.
