Nice little machine

I have only used this washer a few times as it is in my vacation home. Having said that I really like how quiet it is and it does a good job. It Has a small capacity which I had to choose to fit it in the closet where my last machine was. Hopefully it will last years!

Door lock problems

This machine worked great right up until the warranty expired (of course). The door lock has broken, and though it should be an easy fix to replace the lock mechanism, this part has been backorered for over 6 months now. I’m not the only one with the door lock malfunction problem, just read around for other reviews. It seems to be a common issue, and the fact that GE can’t produce a proper replacement for it tells me something is wrong. I’d prefer to not add this machine to a landfill, especiall...

Great washer

I bought this washer in Washington DC for my condo there. I just love it. Easy to use, great features and quiet. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a non-standard size washer. I only wish it still came in the stainless/gray look.

Sorry we bought this

The washer has never worked. The clothes are soaking wet when done - it doesn't spin properly. We had the washer installed May 22 and now it July 18. Two months without a washer. We bought the warranty ~ so the repair guy has been out twice (so we have to take time off work to meet him). He argued that the load was uneven. That we weren't loading it right. The saga of the washer

I purchased the stackable washer and dryer. Had to wait over 4 weeks to receive the stacking kit so was without ability to do laundry. This washer clangs, and bangs, and churns and makes so many weird noises. Now the door switch works intermittently which necessitates opening and closing several times until the switch connects and washer starts. Waiting over six weeks for the part.

Dripping wet clothes, take 50% longer than expecte

We recently bought this GE 2.2-cu ft High Efficiency Stackable Front-Load Washer (White) ENERGY STAR. The clothes are DRIPPING wet when the cycle is done. Also, a 1 hour cycle takes 1.5 hours or more to finish ~ and give us dripping wet clothes. The FAQ suggested making sure there is an air gap for the drain hose. We've adjusted that with no luck. Mine was a Lemon

Bought Mine in 2017, didnt install it for a few months. Dead up on plug in. Parts not available, waited weeks for parts. right after warranty ended the door lock gave up, called GE and they told me no warranty. Repair person quoted the part at aroung $200 and could not get it for a week. I decided to junk this Lemon.

I bought this washing machine today. I know the product well because I was using from Aug 2013 the serial wcvh4800k1ww. About 2 weeks ago it started to make noise when it was on the spinning cycle so I’ve decided to purchase a new one.

Love the feature of "locking" cycles!

I was in cold water all the time. I can pre-set each cycle to my personal settings.

Rarely able to spin

This washer is only able to complete the spin cycle about once out of every 5 loads. I've tried lots of different things: pausing and re-arranging, bigger loads, smaller loads, loads of similar sized items, had the guy com back and make sure it was properly levelled. Nothing consistently works. It will get to the spin cycle, show 10 minutes left on the clock, and will stay there for nearly an hour, trying to spin. Can’t complete a spin cycle

I had this model for 6 years and while it never completely cleaned our clothes, at least it could finish the cycle. It died after only 6 years and I had to get another of the same model since we have the matching stackable dryer. The new one wouldn’t complete the spin cycle if you included anything as heavy as one towel along with a load of clothes. Worst washing machine ever

We've had this beast for 3 years, and it's never really worked right. Mold is growing in it, and it shakes horribly and makes the whole house vibrate during spin cycles. The cheap plastic door also doesn't always latch right.
