What Customers Are Saying
The product is generally effective at cutting through branches up to 1 inch thick, with a sturdy saw and extendable pole that allows users to access high areas without a ladder. The pruner feature is also useful for trimming smaller branches. However, some customers have reported issues with the quality and reliability of components like the rope/cord mechanism, blade, and pole stability. Overall, the product can be a valuable yard maintenance tool, but users should be prepared for potential quality control problems.

Would Not RecommendYou get what you pay for. Spring broke first day I used it. I would have rated higher if it had lasted more than one use.
Excellent product

Sturdy and lightweight pruner
Would RecommendThis pruning saw was my first. I needed a way to clear some dead branches from a tree. I had some difficulty using the saw blade because of branch movement, but the other blade worked exceptionally smoothly. I noticed when extending the pole that there were only a few positions that lock into place with the holes drilled into the center shaft. While it did operate for me while not locked into the holes, it is not per the safety guidelines. There is also a red line to let you know that you've pul...
Great extendable pole saw and pruner choice.
Would RecommendFiskars extendable pole saw and pruner seems like a quality choice for trimming some smaller lower branches in trees around your property. Pole extends up to 12' and the double locking system keeps the pole safely extended. Pruner seems to prune through smaller branches easily with the sharp pruning blade. 12" saw attachment is very sharp and can cut through slightly thicker branches with little effort. Assembly is minimal with just the attachment of the 12" saw blade. The only thing I coul...
Good Pruning Saw for Light Duty
Would RecommendI bought the Fiskars 12' Pole Pruning Saw @ my local Lowe's. Now, right up front, if you are looking to tackle heavy tree work, this is NOT your tool. However, if you are looking to do some light limb work comfortably without muscle fatigue, this is a very good choice. Now, the weight, balance, pruner, and locking mechanism are fine. The saw, well that is another issue. It is thin, flexes and is just okay. If you are planning to saw thick limbs without aggravation it's not happening. Go bigger,...
Makes Trimming Those High Branches Much Easie
Would RecommendI really like this guy. It’s comfortable to hold and easy to use. You can either use the saw part to cut through the larger branches or the pruning blades for the smaller branches. I also own his larger cousin and have used it extensively as well for trimming branches 6-8 inches in diameter. These products are well made and will last a long time.
Can’t wait to use!
Would RecommendI received this item with the hope of using it to trim an unruly crepe myrtle and am excited to use it. It feels very solid, has a nice sharp blade, and a secure locking mechanism. kf it’s anything like my other Fiskars products, I won’t be disappointed.
Good high branch management
Would RecommendI have only used it a couple of times but I can see where it is going to be useful in managing some branches that were too high to reach with a pruning saw. I can cut larger branches with the saw and smaller ones with the lopper.
Great Addition to the Outdoor Tools
Would RecommendI never knew how much I needed this tool, but it is a must add. No climbing up the ladder to cut off a dead limb. It extended long enough for me to reach about 13’ into a tree and cut off a dead branch… with ease.
Very Handy!
Would RecommendThis pruning saw worked exactly as expected. The telescopic feature was handy to reach the branches up by the roof. While I know the tree doesn't look great now because I basically had to cut around the house, it definitely helped me get the branches off of the siding. Pros: the extension made it really easy to reach the higher branches the attached serrated saw blade easily went through all of the limbs that the pruning shears could not. Cons: the lightweight nature...
Stable
Would RecommendSo just an FYI, this thing is huge. If your brain was like mine and said "it extends to 12 feet, so it should be about 6 feet collapsed" then it is wrong. The dang thing is like 8 feet and extends another 4, which is good for stability and bad for fitting it nicely through doors. Now about using it. Works well. Saw blade is sharp and the pole doesn't feel like it will bend while sawing a particularly tough branch. I would recommend not over-exerting your reach, as the saw blade is unprotecte...
Nice product
Would RecommendVery good quality, easy to use and comfortable. The saw cuts through large limbs easily and the pruner cuts through limbs easily. Works much better then previous pruners I have used.
Love it!
Would RecommendGreat tool. Very versatile and easy to use, loper could be a little big and stronger. .......................... .. ....................................
No Tools Needed
Would RecommendThis is a very light weight pole saw pruner weighing only 4 pounds. The pole extends to 12 feet but I found it becomes very flimsy when trying to use the saw. The pruner works well, I was able to trim branches with no problem. It comes with a life time warranty.
Pretty sharp
Would RecommendI have to say this product gets the job done, I also had to get a ladder to trim the higher branches, but this tool gets the job done, pretty high reach. Sharp blade, and pretty strong rope. I will say one thing, when extended high up the extention does flex a bit much, but it definitely works very well.
Good combination tool
Would RecommendThis is the second tool of its type I've owned. The first you pulled the extended handle to cut, but the rope kept getting tangled inside the wand and it finally ended up in the trash. Seemed like a good idea, but NOT!! This one is simple and I've found that a half turn around the wand keeps you pulling straight and not at an angle. I was surprised how easy it was to cut even some of the larger 3/4" branches. The saw blade came without the fine threaded nut needed to bolt it on. So I had to find...
Very handy tool!
Would RecommendWas amazed how easy and quick it was to cut off tree limbs from different trees that was in the way and prune back our azalea bushes. No ladder needed and didn’t even have a scratch from pruning the azalea bushes like in the past. Give it a try I think you too will find this a very handy tool.
