Would RecommendThe pruning saw made quick work of some apple tree branches that were resting on my fence. I was able to get the entire job done in a few minutes while standing on the ground. I fully extended the telescoping handle to reach the last branch and noticed a bit of flex in the extention. The saw still performed well, just thought it was worth mentioning. Over all the saw worked well and is especially handy for my fruit trees.
Prune without the saw blade
Would RecommendEasy to use, pruning is simple and can be done without attaching the saw blade. The blade is easy to attach when it's needed. I wish the instructions were on the handle itself rather than on the thing you take off; this isn't something I'll use more than once or twice a year.

Would RecommendI got this to cut palm fronds on a large palm tree. I needed to extend the full 12' length to get the job done as expected but the pull rope pruning blade was not effective for the thicker branches so had to saw each one with the saw blade and it worked good. This saw blade was a bit flimsy but sawing straight with pressure and it cuts as required. Ensure the blade is tightened down to the max. before sawing to avoid issues as a few others noted.

Would RecommendFirst thing I aware is it’s light weight, easy to carry and very sturdy when you apply force to cut. The blade is sharp and easily for me to trim the branches of my pine and peach tree at high level. Video attached, I extended the pole to it’s max. Length to cut a branch at high level, it works really well and effortless for me. It took me around a minute to cut a 3 inch branch. The cut edge is perfectly flat. When you cut the branch upto 2/3, I am easily cut the rest by the side pruner.

Would RecommendThis did get the job done on my smallish tree branches but I was not able to figure out how the attached rope worked and so had to make do without it. This may have been responsible for the ill that followed--in putting such pressure on the metal blade, it was displaced. It was pure luck that it did not fly off and cause an accident. If you purchase this, I recommend using the rope rather than your own body weight.
