Great tool

I been using this pole saw for years clearing fence rows and it does its job. There is a technique to using it but once you figure it out you good.

I like it but instructions would be cool. It works great i just cant figure how to add the saw blade and it took a minute for me to get it to extend. The cord could be a bit thicker for easier pulling. I somehow got it stuck in a tree and the cord wrapped around the spring. Probably operator error but still...instructions

Don’t buy this bad boy.

I have a number of Fiskar products. I trusted their quality till now. The rope shredded the first week I used it. The store doesn’t carry rope replacements, The thing doesn’t cut a 1/2” branch cleanly. Bad Dessign.

Slips out of handle

Bought the extendable pole saw to replace a Corona that blade hole stripped. I have used it a few times for branches close to ground. Tried to use the extended saw to at about 12' but the extended arm would keep popping out of the snap catch which is to lock in place. Three different times from different sides of tree, still popped out. I guess I can only use this when I have a ladder on standby

After just 2 or 3 uses the cap on the bottom of the pole cracked. Even worse the saw is too short, too flexible and not sharp.

Poor design.

Save yourself the trouble and buy the 14' or the 16' pruner instead. The design of both the saw and pruner setup is sub par. Lets start with the pruner. First, the blade is not sharp making if difficult to cut even small branches. Second, the way the blade interacts with the handle to cut branches leaves behind at least a 1/2" nub on the trunk. Great pruner

This is a great tree prune. I need to reattach cord. Help

Cheap and flimsy

Blade will nor even cut through a 2 inch diamater branch. Blade bends and sticks. Returning asap

Broke on first use

I used it one time and the cutting blade got jammed. There are not instructions how to fix this. There isn’t even a YouTube video.

I find this a good product

I have only used this for about 1 hour so far and it is far superior to a comparable product I bought for a second home in Maine. The double locking mechanism for the extension is excellent (a neighbor's pole cutter rotates when you try to cut which I why I bought this one), The metal is strong (versus the one I have in Maine where the apparatus that rests on the branch is die cast metal and snapped the first time I used it -- the hardware store there replaced it).
