Terrible product.
Would Not RecommendBlade gets stuck after every cut. I have to bring it down and un-stick it. I have loosened the nuts where the blade pivots. I have oiled everything that might involve friction. No help. Looked to contact Fiskars and the site says they are implementing a new software and a reply would take 6 weeks or so. Useless.

Pruner jammed
Would Not RecommendOnly used pruner feature twice. Second time around the blade locked up. Was able to feed the rope through the pulley to release blade & lop off one more small branch. Locked up again. Rope & spring wouldn't budge. Useless now. Extremely disappointed.

Would Not RecommendThe saw is very lightweight and manageable. Great feature. The saw itself is very sharp and easy to cut with. The cutter however is not the easiest to prune with. It takes inordinate pressure to cut limbs 3/4" in diameter. The saw comes with plenty of rope for the pruner, however it would be nice to have some way to manage all that rope when using it as a saw. Can I do this?
Would RecommendThis product was scary to use for the average person. However, with the directions task was completed. Turned out it was easier than we thought for two oldie, but still trying.

Productive Productive
The saw works grand when one uses it correctly. I have to remember to undercut any branch that requires sawing for removal or else the blade is rather susceptible to jamming and from there the job is more work than fun. Once I learned to start the job at hand correctly life was better and the event came to the conclusion I wanted. Thanks for a cost effective and productive product!

12 ft model is sufficient
Would RecommendPurchased the 12 ft model as I thought the longer (and more expensive) ones would be hard to handle at maximum extension. The looper worked well and that's what I'm using mostly. The saw option works less well due to flexibility of the blade and pole and the physics of getting sufficient leverage at longer lengths.
