Works great, but the blade didn’t handle up to one
I purchase the tree pole First time use when I cut a branch not the saw but the little small branch trimmer is snapped in half the blade

Love this pruner-saw!!!!
Bought this used from an elderly woman whose husband died. I am an 81 year old woman with bad knees. This tool is fantastic!!! I have many trees in my yard. Over 100 trees. I can prune most of them with this tool . My only question is the rope that is used to pull the pruner. Is there a way to wind it on something to keep it out of the way when using the saw? My husband thinks that you should be able to wrap it around the handle but it is a puzzle for me. Any suggestions?

Would not recommend
I recently had my second issue with this product. Similar to another person's experience, the "rope" mechanism continuously got jammed during use and the exterior layers of the rope deteriorated and the rope was down to a thin string that recently completely snapped during use. I would not recommend this product as I found I was always fixing jams so my time was not used efficiently.

Nice in a pinch
I like that it is fairly easy to use and takes little maintenance. The only issue is there a bit of a learning curve and takes some practice to use it efficiently.

I don't know what all these bad reviews are about, I've had mine for At least 7 or 8 years now and it's held up great. Hasn't been the blade does not get all easily. At least none that I've used. I mean I've had to replace them after a while but it does an amazing job and I put it through the ringer! So not too sure what all these other reviews are about complete opposite experience I've had, and actually I've loaned it out for people to use and at first they're like no. I think I'll be all righ...

Effective for light duty tree pruning & sawing
I bought this for the saw blade, but ended up using the rope-pull pruner more. The saw blade is somewhat flimsy (thin), but it does work - albeit slowly. I sawed one 3-4" branch and pruned many 1" branches. The pruner works very well.
