Perfect for double fireplace
We bought 2 of these to place back to back in a double fireplace opening (opens in den and other side to kitchen). Very realistic and couldn't be happier. With our fireplace screens, Looks very realistic. The plastic sheet that the flame bounces off of can show some glare but not noticeable with the screen. Will be adding lava rock to improve the look. Love it.

Great fireplace, but styrofoam packing? Really?
We love the fireplace! It offers a very cozy ambiance to our home. I am very disappointed with the styrofoam packing used for the product, and hope in future Dimplex and others will find more environment-friendly ways to package their products.

I turn on my flames every night at dark. Make it feel cozy. Better than fighting with firewood and mess of starting a real fire. This was a treat to myself. Glad you took my order over the phone too, as I don't have a computer. Thanks guys.

Yes, I'd buy this again!
I installed this logset into my fireplace. I will need to trim about a quarter to half inch off each end of the clear plastic piece. But other than that, my elderly mother and I are thrilled with how great this looks! We sit by this 'fire' often. Our housecat loves it too.

Friends think it's a gas log set!
We got our insert NY's eve and set it up immediately. We just love the fact friends who came over for New Years thought it was a gas log insert. We have glass enclosure screens and it looked great with the glass closed or open. This product is amazing and the inventor really got the real flame look just right. Thank you for the delivery in spite of the back log on this item.
