It is a great product

It is a great product for my ventless fireplace box. Main issue has been the plastic smell coming off of it for weeks. It is finally starting to dissipate. So therefore now I think I can keep it.

We love it so much we got two!

It looks, sounds, and feels so real that our dog likes to curl up and sleep in front of it.

We love the realistic look

We love the realistic look of our electric fireplace. There is no maintenance needed, no ash anymore. In addition, I insulated the space above the electric fireplace, to block the cold winter air from coming down the flu into the room. It feels warmer just with the blocked out cold air, and with the heater on the electric fireplace, it adds additional warmth when needed.

Good Service, good product.

As advertised. Worked great 1st time. Product remote a little dodgy as you have to be right up close to the fireplace for it to work correctly but that is not the sellers fault. Phone call to the store before purchase gave us all of the correct information.

New Dimplex better than old!

Upgraded our Dimplex electric logs to a unit that looks more like gas logs - it is just logs on a rack, with an ember mat (that glows and pulses) below. The previous was more of a firebox so you could not see the bricks of the actual fire box. The new remote can control the colors of the flames (within reason) and can have the heating part on, off or high. Great that we can have the ambience of a fire in warm months without the heat!

Don't Buy

I wanted to like this product, but it's a cheap piece of junk. Mine didn't work. I turned it on and it immediately went off. I tried again. Again, it turned off. It never went off again. Returning it tomorrow for a refund.

Perfect!

These electric fireplace logs are a great option for existing wood burning fireplaces. Flames are more realistic than most electric fireplaces and the heater heats up the living room nicely. It's not noisy at all. On low you can't even hear it; on high, if the room is quiet it sounds like a small space heater. During the day the glare is a little noticeable but goes away at night when the room is dark. I would recommend.

No clean up!

We have lived in the same house for 29 years and decided to overhaul our family room and its large masonry fireplace. The ash and smell of burning wood always bothered me, and after I extensively cleaned the fireplace both inside and out, and we replaced the fireplace doors I did not want to burn wood ever again. The Dimplex 25 inch Revilliusion is realistic and was a snap to assemble and install. It doesn't produce much heat, but I live in Florida so that is okay. We really enjoy having a "fire...

Nice Electric Log-set

This is a nice electric log-set. While very attractive/realistic once setup, exercise caution during the install. The materials (plastic / metal bits) seem to be quite fragile.

Pretty Cool!

It is a good purchase. Be very very careful with it as it is delicate and can crack. Mine cracked but I used a little electrical tape to cover the crack on log. It is fine. Best to place in an area where you do not have a reflection from a window or tv. It has a 'screen' that the flames are reflected on.
