Works perfectly!

Well made Versatile size Extractors

I received the Crescent Apex Bolt Extraction, Vortex 5pc rail set as part of the Lowe's Loop program. They are a perfect fit for the Crescent Apex set i received before, the rail set fit inside the case with the other bits in the set. ,These extractor sockets come in sizes 1/4,5/16,3/8,7/16 and 1/2. They are designed so each one will extract various size bolts sae or metric. whether the bolt/nut head is in good shape or rounded off. I tested the 1/2 extractor on an 11mm nut and on a 13mm nut it ...

Very cool for damaged heads

This is very helpful for bolts with damaged heads. It is a genius invention! It works for non damaged our wore out heads too. It fits easily in your drill or socket set.

Good Bite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extractors seem to remove mostly rounded bolts. Have had good success with driving the stripped bolts as well. Would buy again. More sizes would be a great addition to the line up. I store these in my daily driver tool box.

This set is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this set. It works great at removing anything I need it to. I love the case it comes in and it is compact enough to fit in my tool box if I need it. I definitely recommend this set to anyone. I only wish there were more sizes.

Good Product, Does What It Says

Had some rusted bolts and they removed it with some elbow grease. Advertises that it will put the same bolt back on, but didn't validate the claim as I wanted new, "clean" bolts to replace the rusty ones. Could use a broader range of sizes, but the ones provided worked well

Excellent at extracting tough bolts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up this set to work on my recent project. I’m restoring a really rusty 1964 Ford Custom 4DR. This set help me remove the most stubborn, rusty bolts from the bumper to the front clip of the car. I would still be struggling with the bolts if it wasn’t for the nut extractors.

A convenience

Bolt extractors are not something you need all the time, but when the need arises, having a set on hand will make a big difference. The extractors range from 1/4" to 1/2". They are sturdy and loaded easily into the drill. Extractors are a good investment for your tool box; they will save you headache.

Versatile tool for stripped hex screws and bolts

The sockets can be used with multiple tools. High quality tool. Works great removing or installing hex screws or bolts. Ability to use with different tools helps in hard to access places.

Handy tools

I used this to take out a bolt I had a hard time getting out! This little gem made it a breeze! Forgot to take picture of using it but got a picture of the drill I used it with! Very handy and a place to store them too....

Great Set and seem well built

I really like that these extraction bits come on a tray that you can insert into a bit box. The bits themselves seem to be well built. I can’t comment on the durability as I haven’t used them much but overall I am happy with the product.

Crescent Bolt Extractor

Really, really great! I didn't have a stuck bolt, so I rounded the head of a 1/4-20 bolt so that an open end could not grip it without slipping. I put the nut into a vise, and using the extractor drove it with a 20 volt electric driver set at maximum torque and drove bolt until the nut contacted the shoulder of the bolt. Bolt held in extractor until the 20 volt driver stalled. No doubt in my mind this will remove (or break the head off) of a stuck bolt.

Great extractors

out of the box you could tell the quality that was put into them...I put my new bandsaw together with them and it was like they grabbed the nut and wouldn't let go...I didn't have a damaged bolt or nut to try them on but I have know doubt that these extractors would do the job flawlessly...I am very impressed

Must have

My husband works in the coal Mines so he's constantly fixing things that are worn out. These definitely come in handy for all the stripped bolts he has to get out and says it works great! The sizing on these are good also so if you're looking for a good set of extraction tools these work great!

Works great

This tool set makes extracting rusted and stripped bolts a very easy task .there is no need to try and fight them out with pliers or vice grips just simply install on your tool of choice slide over the stripped bolt and back it out

When you need them, these are a lifesaver!

These extractors are high-quality, impact-rated, and function very well. They work by gripping the flats of a fastener head instead of the points. This gives a much more firm grip and you can torque the fastener down, or remove it with ease. In my experience, they have worked very well on stripped small sheet metal screws, which is what I use the most. Works Great

I attached this to my Battery Operated screw driver to unscrew a stripped out Bolt Screw and it was easy peasy and out within seconds. Will definitely use on other rusted stuck bolt screws.
