Top choice for the money

One of the best routers out there, and a steal for the price. It has plenty power to do what needs to be done. Spend the little extra money on this router and get a machine Made to last.

Router package was shipped with a part that did not fit Bosch1617 router. Staff only willing to credit account, not to help obtain part that would fit router. Therefore router kit essentially useless.

GOOD HEAVY DUTY ROUTER AT A REASONABLE PRICE

THIS HAS BEEN THE HEAVIEST ROUTER IN THIS PRICE RANGE THAT I HAVE FOUND. IT GETS USED DAILY AND TAKES THE ABUSE. I HAVE HAD TO USE THE WARRENTY BECAUSE OF THE VARIABLE SPEED SWITCH MALFUNCTIONING. SEEMS LIKE IT MIGHT BE A WEAK POINT

I like the fact that it comes with two bases and Every accessory I've seen takes this model. First time I used it and the project came out great!

Great plunge router

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this for years and I've found the plunge router to be excellent. The fixed base router height adjustment failed almost immediately, which is disappointing, but the router itself is great.

amazingly dissapointed

bought the router and plunge base kit today, took it out of the box and the plunge base is completely unusable. the actual motor is OK, and feels robust, however the bases are a joke if you are trying to do anything precise. I had heard Bosch went downhill on these but WOW, I had no idea it could be so bad. Wish I could find one of the original older kits before the dopped quality out the window.

New to wood work

To be honest with you this is my first time actually running a handheld router and I'm just now getting back into it it's been a while since I had looked at in a wood working equipment I brought in the past I took some classes or workshops and so far the router is sticky does not Glide and smoothly as I thought but it's still new and I'm still working with
