Would Not RecommendI paid extra for the additional base thinking this would be a tool that lasted me a long time. I was very wrong. I am only a weekend wood hobbyist and this was not overused. After two years the motor started bogging down badly. Im not talking about pushing thick cuts of hardwood through it either. It wouldn't even cut chamfers into pine/redwood picture frames without slowing down so much that it made it dangerous. Customer service number was a joke. The agent that answered clearly didn't ...
Switch does not work any more after two hours
Used it in the router table.Total runtime time less than 2 hours. Used the switch around 20 times and it does not properly shut off anymore.

Really poor design on fixed base
Would Not RecommendI bought this for the feature of being able to adjust height from above the router table - what a disappointment! The lift mechanism is held together with just a C clip and it has fallen off 3 times on my first project, making height adjustment impossible. Also, the router got jammed in the base and I had to disassemble and sand/grease it to get it to go back in (grease isn't going to work with sawdust long term).
