Cracks in corners

The porcelain over steel is a brilliant idea. However, the porcelain was cracked, showing the black steel, in the corners and I had to return it. The new one I picked up at another Lowes was better, but still had porcelain missing near the bottom of the flange lip (covered by the wall tile). Excellent thought..Not very well thought out.

Defective and Poor customer service

We purchased this base in March and it was installed in April. Within days of the installation we noticed pieces of the porcelain chipped off. Since then there are several more. Two of which are dime size. We even put a mat on it to try to stop it from continuing to chip. Contacted customer service and was told that it was damage and not chipped. This is used by 2 adults only. I have asked for an explanation on why it is not defective and have gotten no answer.

Drainage is poorly designed.

First one I bought had so many damages around the edges. I returned it. Second one, I opened the box to make sure, it wasn't perfect, but decent enough. Then it got worst. The drain is horribly designed. It's barely flush, leaving a 1/4 inch gap all around the square drain. I'm returning this one as well. Such a waste of time.

Check your product before leaving the store!!

Base was cracked! Should have been checked before leaving store!!! This store manager needs a pay cut!!!! If there were any other franchise around this store would have to !!

Where the refund?

It was delivered broken. Paid for shower walls before delivery and for delivery. Lowes picked it up for return which I was told was no charge, since Lowes delivered it and it was broken. I have not been refunded my money. This is bad business by Lowes. What does a customer have to do to get money refunded. This is going on facebook and ever other communication.

I like how this product is so durable and has a metal pan. Only a couple of seam to fill in but I think this will last awhile

Slip

Love the base but it is like an ice rink - has no anti slip and is very slick

Difficult Install

Connection to waste drain pipe makes this a once in never out project

Slippery when wet

After installation we discovered that the base is extremely slippery when wet. The base does have a sort of textured zone where I'm assuming it is supposed to be non slip. However even that area is slippery, less slippery than the non textured area but slippery none the less. At this point in our bathroom remodel project we're unable to remove and install a substitute. We'll install some sort of adhesive strips to help with footing while using.
