Great shower pan!

This is a substantial shower pan! It is porcelain coated steel and should withstand years of use.

Drain makes it unusable - don't buy

The way the square grate is designed to attach to the base is awful. I contacted their customer service dept and confirmed installation was correct. I got the impression that it's designed to look terrible. Had to buy something else.

Damaged item

Item has large chip missing in two corners, one corner is bent upon opening the box. The box does not appear to have been damaged so we were surprised (and disappointed) to find the item in poor condition. After seeing reviews about the drain cover issue, maybe we should consider ourselves lucky we ended up with a damaged item before we went to the trouble of installing only to realize the drain cover doesn't fit properly.

We had to jerry rig the panels to fix the floor.

The pad was two inches to short for the panels that were put up on the sides.

Poor Quality Control

Fully inspect your mansfield products before starting your project. In the middle of my master bath renovation I went to install this showerpan and found that the based was not attached correctly and that shower pan was unstable and unuseable. I called the manufacturer and they confirmed it was made wrong and said to return to store. My project came to a complete halt until I could find another showerpan. Whoever design this shower pan, you're wasting the company monies. It's just a common sense, square drain installing to a round hole.

mar in finish

bought this and had it installed by contractors, it was real nice but very slippery for the first two months and then it developed a defect in the floor part. the steel was showing and the top finish was gone in an area about the size of a half dollar. Lowes told me to contact Mansfield and they told me it was damage I caused and would not be covered by warranty. We did nothing to damage this and the contractors agree it was a defect in the finish that bubble up. Will not buy their produc...

JUST JUNK WALL SECTIONS I WOULD NEVER BUY THIS A

THE WALL SECTIONS ARE JUNK... VERY HARD TO SNAP THE SIDE WALLS INTO THE BACK PANEL...

Drain cover is smaller than cutout for it.

Please, please don't waste your time with this item. And do not waste your time calling the mfg. regarding the drain cover. They only have 1 size and it's the proper size according to them. Even though there is a good 1/8 of an inch gap around all sides, this is supposedly the correct size cover. Calling them, their response was that it's correct and you just have to fill the gaps all the way around it. Regardless of the pics reflecting a flush mounting cover, that is very much NOT the case....

Don’t waste your time

Not a great quality piece. Scratches easily and the box came torn and messed up! Had to return!

Comedy of Errors

Drain didn't fit and there are chips and dings

We first recieved the base with chips and dings. They packaged the base with the wrong drain that is meant for a tile floor and it also doesnt cover the hole.....this is the worst purchase. We have went to lowes twice, asked for help were told to buy two different drains and those still didn't work. Do not buy this!
