What Customers Are Saying

Customers praise the steel construction for durability and superiority over fiberglass, with many highlighting its sturdy build and stability. However, a substantial portion report receiving damaged units with chipped porcelain, bent edges, and dents requiring returns. The drain assembly frustrates reviewers with fit and design issues, often requiring modifications. Those receiving undamaged units appreciate the non-slip texture and appearance, though some note cleaning difficulty. Overall, while many value the material quality, quality control concerns and installation challenges temper satisfaction for a significant segment.

Scratches way too easily. Bought a porcelain coated steel shower pan hoping for longevity over fiberglass. Looks like I made the wrong choice.

Gets the job done for my cabin

Pros: price, no mortar needed; Cons: no directions for drain installation, poor directions for installing pan (calls for 2x4 stringers, but doing so would put the pan off the floor). I ended up drilling holes into studs through the top lip of the pan and placing my shower board over it.

Good Quality, Bad Quality Control and Care

I like how sturdy this product is and the fact that it had a square style drain cover. However, it did come dented, chipped and deformed. I had to take some extra time with a hammer to knock out the dents and unfortunately theres nothing I can do about the chips in it except for using some water proof porcelain touch up of some sort since its porcelain coated. But other than that I have it set and its doing solid enough. The drain also needs to be cemented to a waste pipe which I didnt realize a...
