Defective product

Very poor product. The coating came off with painter's tape. Lowes needs to discontinue stocking of these shower pans.

Strong solid filling under your feet much better than the fiberglass one I used previously.

Would not recommend this shower pan! I purchased this shower pan months ago and had it installed by a contractor at our new house build, now it has the same issues of the other people's reviews, enamel chipped it is so upsetting that the company is blaming the contractor when it is clearly the shower pan, it's impossible that it happened to this many people Do not purchase this shower pan!!

Square drain

Very well made, easy to install, looks great. The only problem was trying to find one in stock.

Th base is well made but unable to locate a 32” surround. I had to purchase a 30” base to make everything work.

Do not buy--drain cover does not fit!

Despite being installed correctly, the drain cover sits at least 1/8 inch above the drain depression in the shower pan and above the drain opening (see pics). This defeats the entire purpose of the drain cover, as the water and hair just runs under the gap instead of running over drain cover and into the the openings in the drain cover. Called customer service, sent pics and was told that the pictures I sent demonstrate a correct fit and that is how it was designed to sit up like this. They s...

Forget Mansfield American Bath Group

Opened the box and found that an edge was bent. Tried to bend it back into place but it nearly broke because it was so brittle. Had to install anyway because of time constraint and figured we'd cover the damage with tile. Got it installed and went to mount the cheaply made drain cover on and found that there are gaps around it as others here have pointed out. Third problem, a mounting screw began to rust terribly within something like a week after installation. Not both but one of the two. Looks...

Porcelain chips

The porcelain just started chipping. Nothing dropped on it and no abrasives used to clean. This started about 6 months after we purchased this item from Lowe’s. Even if they gave us a new one we would have to tear out our surround shower walls to install it is sturdy but that is it. We have had porcelain tubs previously and never had issues like this. Would be nice if they sent someone out to refinish I’ll be asking Lowes about this and update this review.

Terrible Quality Control

Bought three of them and none of them were in good condition. The first one had a dent and a chip in the middle. Second one was not squared, and the third one had a chip near the edge of the front skirt. Luckily, after installing tiles and the grout, my contractor was able to hide that fault. I guess the word "Made in U.S.A." means nothing these days.
