Would RecommendThis outshines the stud finder purchased from “HF” so much, it is hard to describe. Was getting many false readings from that one to the point that I could not trust it. This also detects hidden wiring as long as there is voltage so you can be safer. Very accurate in detecting the stud as it “builds up” as the edge is approached and gives a strong signal across the stud then fades off. I really like the little arrow that is projected on the wall when it detects the stud.

Would RecommendWe didn’t need a super fancy stud finder so we got this one. It is very easy to use and works great. The lights and labels make it self explanatory. I like how the end has a notch to easily mark where the stud is. Perfect for hanging decorations in the home.
