It will find studs but you'll have to play with it to get the best accuracy

Does not work any better than my 25 yr old Black & Decker stud finder.

It works perfect but it took sometime to understand how it works

Invisible Studs

Unable to find any studs at all regardless of whether it’s in deepscan or stud scan mode. Brand new Duracell battery. All the lights turn on it just says that my walls have nothing but invisible studs. Buy something else.

Essential for not missing a stud,or missing wires!

My Old stud finder seemed to be hit or miss-- This new unit has been spot on everywhere I've tried it in my new place. Worth every penny, glad I bought it over the other brand model. It was more money, but well worth it. Highly recommended

Hot garbage...

Faster using a hammer.,.. Stud was always 2 to 3 inches away... And give up trying to find one in a ceiling to hang a light... Terrible product... Your better off using a hammer and listening and a nail to confirm... Or better yet find a better product.... Don't waste your money

Great stud finder!

Needed a stud finder for one job where it was really critical to be precise. This worked great, found the stud I needed, and is now a part of my regular tool kit!

CLOSE BUT NO CIGAR

For the price that you have to pay for this item, I expected it to at least work better than it did. It was supposed to be able to detect the edges of the 2x4s and it did not. After several false readings and covering the holes from the mistakes, a 3 minute job turned into 10. The unfortunate thing is that the next price available for one of these was a difference of $30 ... I don't recommend to get one of these just because if it's not going to perform like it should I'll spend the extra mone...

Doesn't find studs

What more is there to say? Won't find studs, even on a test piece of 1/8 hardboard with a 2x4 behind. It simply fails to do its job, utterly and completely.

Just played with it so far , didnt need it yet but bought because I couldn't find my other one.

Complete garbage

"Found" 3 studs that ended up being just drywall. Hasn't found a single stud since. Less than useless, as bad data gives you false confidence. Avoid.

Zircon L40

I just purchased this product and scanned every wall in my house and didn’t find any studs!!!! Even went to my garage where I could clearly see where the drywall was put up and still didn’t detect any studs!!!! So I felt so crazy that I pull up a video to make sure I knew how to use this device on the Zircon website and I’m doing everything correctly. So I decided to red the reviews and wish I would have done some before wasting my time!!!!

Waste of Money!!!!

I needed a stud finder for 1 project at home, so I bought the cheaper one. Came home and threw a battery in it and started scanning the wall. I found the first stud, then the thing went crazy. All of the lights started flashing and it kept beeping. I put another brand new battery in thinking the battery may have been bad, NOPE. Scanned the entire wall and nothing. I set it to deep scan, it would randomly light up but never find the stud. THEN it started beeping and showing a stud across the enti...

Garbage product

Seems like they are hit or miss. Mine very rarely will find a stud. I will be returning tomorrow and getting a different brand.
