What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the spreader for consistent, even coverage across fertilizer, seed, and ice melt applications, with many noting performance matches pricier competitors at significantly lower cost. The dial mechanism, large hopper, and lightweight design earn frequent commendation. However, some report receiving dirty or rusted units from store displays, and several mention frustration over missing application settings documentation. Despite these concerns, most customers consider it an excellent value and reliable performer for residential and professional use.

Nice size spreader
Would RecommendPerfect size for me. A little bit smaller than my old Scotts spreader, which was a bit too big. I like the dial. Be sure to order for delivery; the ones in the garden center are crusted with dust and bird poop.

Don’t rely on a Lowe’s employee from Ohio.
Would RecommendA Lowe’s store in Ohio shipped me the biggest piece of crap they had. Had a bolt missing that secured the hopper to the frame and only one wheel rolls. Definitely thought it would have been shipped from my local store.

It works well and folds down well
Would RecommendIt was a good product but it looked like it had been sitting in an attic for 100 years it was very dirty and I had to clean spiders off it

Expect the worst, relish the good.
Would Not RecommendThe spreader waiting for pickup was covered with bird dodo and had signs of rust. The replacement spreader was also covered with bird dodo, but no rust. No other options available, so the sales associate cleaned up what he could with sanitary wipes. Sorely, I needed a spreader and kept the second one.

Do not like the scott spreaders they aver rated
Have not used yet. I purchased a scott spreader and it was used and dirty with left over material. I took the spreader back and complained and the employee in formed me that they do not take back items used and it was obvious that it was used. She imformed me that is kept out side and stated that it was the weather elements. Not happy with her responce.
