What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the spreader for consistent, even coverage across fertilizer, seed, and ice melt applications, with many noting performance matches pricier competitors at significantly lower cost. Sta Green Precision Broadcast Spreader 32lbs.
Would RecommendAppearance: Residual dust and bird droppings built up were not removed after storage over the winter in Lowe's, before it was delivered to me. I cleaned up the spreader before I put it in my garage. It looks structurally sound, but the weather has prevented me from using it with the crabgrass preventer that was delivered to my house by Lowe's, as there are small holes in the two bags I discovered when I heard the granules move around in the bottom of the delivery box before opening it. Poor design
Would Not RecommendI bought this to replace a Scott's edge guard spreader. The Sta-Green falls short in almost every aspect. It constantly gets clogged. The impeller inside the bin is much smaller so it doesn't pull the fertilizer to the opening. There is no guard on the backside of the thrower so it spreads 360 degrees.

Defective Wheels
Would Not RecommendReturned for broken wheel. Thin plastic spokes on the back side of wheels were broken. Was going to exchange but the first three I pulled of the shelf had the same issue. Shop for a better quality spreader.
