Ratings & Reviews for Maytag 20.5-cu ft Standard-Depth 33-in Wide Top-Freezer Refrigerator ( Black )

Some frustration, but overall good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to reverse the doors. The plastic plugs on the top of the fridge were jammed in so hard, I couldn't help but scratch the paint trying to get them out. And once the doors were reversed, the seal on the hinge side wasn't even touching the front of the fridge. Those eventually did stretch out and seal. I also wanted to add an ice maker. Nowhere in the description of the fridge did it say it doesn't come ice maker ready. So, of course I o...

Lots of room inside

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is too noisy. Never had one that was this noisy.

Super nice size to store lots.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought in May 2025 and happy about how sleek it looks, and the amount of shelves.

Freezes Ice Quickly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Maytag Refrigerator fits my space perfectly- ( I have a lower cabinet over the fridge so couldn't go too tall) It has a slightly textured white surface which I wanted, keeps fingerprints from marking the surface. Works great and there is plenty of room. The extra drawer under the top shelf, however, does fall out if you move it too far out- but we have adjusted the way we open it.

Basic fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] so far, so good. I do wish the freezer door shelves were closed instead of just the bar across that items can fall through. The fruit and veg drawers don't seem to close all the way...not sure if that makes a difference or not.

Freezer doesn't freeze ice cream.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator less than a month ago and aftef ajusting the cooling settings, the 8ce cream in the freezer is still soft.

Very Basic Top Freezer Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lacks even cooling in the Refrigerator compartment. Shelving is mediocre. No handles on front. Too short. I probably wouldn’t purchase again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect size for my small kitchen and what I needed.

Love the simplicity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm enjoying my new Fridge! I wanted something with no ice maker or water, and this was perfect. It's also roomy enough inside. Loving the stainless-steel color too.

my maytag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] well i own a maytag bought it 18 years ago and i bought another onelove mymaytag

Simple and perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Maytag refrigerator! I bought one without an ice maker and I didn’t want a “Smart” refrigerator! This refrigerator is perfect and suits my needs better. I hope it lasts longer than my 3 year old LG did.

Nice and roomy but track quality is not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this 2 weeks ago and the track for the deli/meat drawer is not working properly and needs replaced already. This is not making me feel confident on this product.

Ok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought about a month ago appears to work ok but is noisy

Noisy and not as well equiped

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frige is much noisier than previous Maytag. Had to buy 4rth door shelf not supplied. Fixed shelf spacing not as convenient as previous model. I would not purchase again.

The good vibes continue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New Maytag (installed on 4/2/2025) replaced our close to 25 year old Maytag which gave us zero problems. The new one is almost identical size and looks wise and it keeps food much colder. Could be quieter, but not a deal breaker. So far, very pleased with it.

Love This Refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this refrigerator! After living with an old, taped together, smaller refrigerator this bigger and more efficient refrigerator is a true blessing. My produce lasts longer as well as leftovers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. but the interior design is not the best. depending on where items are placed the door shutting is a problem. Also the shelves can not be arranged to create better space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. I like how I’m able to see what’s in the drawers without opening them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my refrigerator last month. I really like the refrigerator but was disappointed when some of my produce froze inside the refrigerator. I lowered the factory settings, but haven’t tested it. Other than this the refrigerator is exactly what I needed and wanted.

A perfect fit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A nice upgrade that fit perfectly in our kitchen. It's well designed for the maximum inside storage space.
