Great Smoker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this as a Christmas gift from my family. Easy and simple to put together. I had one issue with the air damper, it was not in the box. I contacted Masterbuilt and they promptly sent one to me. I seasoned the smoker last weekend and smoked some venison. It turned out great! 25 degrees outside, thermostat worked great and held the temperature where I wanted it. This is another great smoker from Masterbuilt.

Best propane smoker

Accurate and Reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this smoker for over a year, used at least once a week. Set temperature and only thing to worry about is adding wood chips and monitoring the temperature of the meat. Stays accurate even when cold (for Florida) or when winds are blowing. Very satisfied.

Best smoker

Head scratcher to assemble

Assembly of this unit can be challenging with the directions provided.

Love this smoker. Replaced my older model which was smaller. Well worth the extra money.

Prior to actually smoking, I am very satisfied.

I had a 40 inch propane, and a 30 inch electric, both Masterbuilt smokers. The propane smoker never worked right, even when it was new. The 30 inch electric was great, until it stopped in the middle of smoking a pork butt. It was about four years old, and had lived outside that whole time. I always kept it covered, and it always worked until last time. I liked the electric better, but I couldn’t put a full packers, cut brisket in the small electric, so I opted for a 40 inch electric. Great smoker

On my second 30-inch propane smoker. First one lasted about 7 years before rusting out inside... my fault for not keeping it covered. Holds temperatures well. Yes, I recommend and would buy again. If they still make the 40-inch model in propane, I would go with it as the 30-inch will not hold a rack of baby-backs without cutting in half.

Absolutely Awesome!!!!

I purchased my smoker about 6 months ago. Waited to write a review until I used it several times. Had an issue with a part that was bent a couldn't be assembled. Texted Masterbuild customer service. The issue was promptly resolved. They sent me a replacement part. Took 2 weeks for the part to arrive but everything was golden after that. Fantastic value

I've only had this for a week and have smoked a few things, but wanted to leave my initial impressions. For the money, I am blown away with the features of this smoker and the quality. I've had propane and electric smokers before and this one combines the benefits of both. With quick and accurate heat the well insulated unit sips gas.
