Rplacement parts

I was pleased to find out that I could order parts that had rusted. Better yet!! They were replaced at no cost. I have had my composting bins for 3 to 5 years (can't remember exactly how many as time flies) and have great results versus the old fashioned way of just having a pile out back.

Superb Customer Service

After MANY years of weathering harsh Midwest winters, our Lifetime composter had some rusting interior parts on the lid that needed replacing. A simple phone call is all it took to have the complimentary replacement parts sent to us. Once we started taking the lid apart, we realized we needed a few more parts - and those were sent to us promptly and at no cost as well. Even though we are a small customer in their eyes, we got the same customer service one as a large-order customer. So refreshing...

Unable to open one compost tumbler

Hi, I got my dual compost tumbler couple of years ago and love the way I am able to recycle my kitchen wastes. Recently I am having trouble opening one of my bins. I know the interiors are rusted and when the same happened last time we were able to open after oil lubrication. No luck this time, have been greasing it with oil but no luck.

Love my composter!

I love the convenience of having two, ongoing composts and especially love that it is above the ground and rotates. This speeds the composting process considerably. I have had issues with rusting mechanisms, as many people have reported. I spoke with Nathan, in customer service, and he immediately ordered replacement parts for me. Great customer service, great product!

Good deal and service

I bought a double composter many years ago at Costco. after years of use my hinges wore out. I called Lifetime customer support and the person was very nice and said no problem he would have new hinges shipped for free. That is customer support. I will buy from lifetime again.

Rotating Composter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this composter for about 5 years and it has been excellent unit. I usually get about 1-1/4 yards of compost each year even tho we only have about 9 months to use it because of the cold weather.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my double composter at Costco in 2014. I'm a lazy composter, so my compost takes longer, but I've been overall pretty happy with mine. The weak point on mine is the cheap metal hinge system they use, but the strong point of the company is that they promptly send a new set when they break. Excellent customer service is more important than anything to me, and I'm happy to give my business to and recommend this company!

Great customer service!

I bought this dual compost tumbler about 5 or more years ago, and although it is still working fine, the pins that lock the bins to keep them from turning between tumbles broke pretty soon after we started using it. Not a big deal if I have a balanced load in there (not always so easy). The bigger issue is that one of the sleeves that holds two of the side panels together has begun to distort so badly I know it will soon give out, in which case that barrel would fall apart. Best Ever and So Easy to Use!

I purchased this product over 5 years ago. Love the fact that you can have one side "cooking" while filling the other. Came back to read recent reviews as I was thinking of replacing my unit due to rusting issues. Found that the parts I was having issues with had been upgraded on new models. Easy LIFETIME tumbling for faster composting and no mice!

A LIFETIME closed composting tumbler is the best way to compost. I don’t like open composting, turning compost with a pitchfork or shovel, because that stirs up too much dust and mold that gets into your respiratory system and onto your hair and clothes. Open composting also attracts rodents. Closed tumbler composting works faster, and having a double closed tumbling composter allows you to fill the second one while the first one is completing its processing.
